I am in complete agreement with Giovanni. I also find that the Bible doesnt really say that the Earth is flat. The quotes seem to be poetic. The Earth is round. This is a fact. If the Earth were flat, how would the water stay on it?

I find this site is discriminatory in many ways. When I first signed in, I was shocked to find my status "Unsaved trash". Who are you to judge me? I am saved, and even if I wasn't, I would still not be trash. We should respect everyone, be they female, of a different religion, or from a different country. I have found a post on this site telling me that I, as a woman should not be on the internet. I have found one racist towards New Zealanders. Jesus himself was racially discriminated against. Assuming that a whole nation of people are damned is ridiculous. I have family with strong faith in New Zealand.

Now i personally attend a youth group at a local church, no i do not believe in god. But jesus sounds like a great fellow for he turned water into wine? I mean this guy knew how to party! anyways...

I agree with many teachings and philosophies.
But NO WHERE in the bible have I seen, that you should discriminate your fellow neighbour. Weather it be the man down the street or the man who like you is trying to find their own kind of enlightenment.

While I have no solid proof to say that the devil does not exist, do you have any besides a few hundred year old book? I actually don't want to put it this way, but there is no proof that the contents of that book are true, The majority of the phenomenon it explains can be explained though other means such as theory's with predictions that can be tested repeatedly under many different conditions which produce quantitative evidence to reinforce the theory, what makes it more important than perhaps a fiction book written around the same time (I really did not enjoy putting it that way, but its true)

Does the bible cover why when we inhale O_2 we exhale CO_2? no, does it explain the way the particles in the dust storm I am happily watching interact with each other and obscure my view of the city? no. You claim that it covers everything, and yes, it does offer some theories as to why some of the natural phenomena around us occurs, but it lacks evidence, it just states. The rest of it has come from your interpretation of it, lacking evidence, just based on opinion

I guess the thing that bugs me the most is you guys are happy to reap the rewards of science, all the little things in your everyday life that make it easier for you, but deny their existence practically and all the thousands of hours of scientific research that actually make them work, now that's hypercritical!

I do read the bible, but i cant believe some of these bible parts that are already solved by science research. Im not an atheist, i believe in god and the bible, but i also believe in what the human saw before the bible.

Now you will say(HO no!!! you put the humans over god!!!) I didnt said that. I never saw god myself and im a curious man, but i wont go that far. So i give up on looking for god and i keep on looking on humans since i can clearly see anyone of them.
