What contradiction are you talking about? Cain's wife was a descendant of Adam and Eve (Not Adam and Steve), just like every human on earth.

I assume that by descendant you mean daughter. Okay, let's say you didn't made that up and continue to the next question: If Cain's wife is Adam and Eve's descendant, that means she is related to them by blood, just like Cain is. That means that Cain and his wife are blood related too. I thought incest in considered forbidden, is it not?

My parents chose to worship such a diabolical religion and chose to drag me to Hell with them. But Jesus saved me and put me on the path of TRUE Christianity - That of His Church, as started by John The Baptist.

If I still reek of Catholicism it is due to the recent "exorcism" performed on me when I told my family I am a Baptist now. The "exorcism" involved a lot of wine, wafers, holy water and incense.

Religion shall always be at odds with science. Why? Because science only deals with what it can see and prove. And scientists blind to the spiritual realm can not see it and thus can not prove it.
We are more than this physical realm - we are souls created by God.

In advance I'd like to point out that taking individual passages of a message, or parts of it, out of context is bound to not accurately reflect the full message the author is trying to get across.

Let's take this in two stages.

1. What have personal opinions got to do with religion?

Eventually your belief is just that - your (personal) interpretation of God's works.

2. We are commanded by God to avoid seeking knowledge. Take it up with God.

That is an interesting point of view and although I'm not really keen on straying too far from the original topic, I am positively curious on how you came to this conclusion since if regarded from this angle, reading the Bible to learn about the Lord is obviously a bad thing to do.

So you see, we were warned about people like you full of your own importance and not to seek the wrong sort of knowledge and to try to guess how God did things. So why do you think we're going to listen to you? You certainly seem like one of those scoffers: a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I did by no means plan on 'preaching' to you further I am not trying to tell you what's right and wrong nor am I trying to belittle or alter your belief.
Please point out what exactly implies that I value what I bring up more than others' points so I can avoid evoking this impression in the future.

Well that's a shame, and a grave mistake you're making. You would do well to put aside your prideful ways and accept the Truth© instead (Psalm 111:10).

Nothing else matters. In the long run, when you consider eternity, it matters not if you learn the details of gravity, but it does matter if you learn about Christ Jesus. One is born in a state of sin, condemned to eternal Hell. To be ignorant of this is to waste the life you've been given.

Next, believer or not, life is God's greatest gift.

Friend, you are quite mistaken, and gravely so. God's greatest gift is faith, because life for one without faith is fraught with naught but suffering. Suffering and death are part of the curse of sin on the world (Genesis 3:16-19). Adam and Eve fell, and when they did, they brought to themselves and to all of their descendants the suffering of death. Not everyone will be blessed to be born in a land of plentiful resources, where such resources are shared fairly and equitably. Most people in the world are born in poverty, die from such things as a cavity or scratch causing bacterial infection, malaria spread by mosquitoes, parasites from unclean water. Mothers watch their babies starve, fathers watch their young sons become soldiers. Life is a mess, a bloody, violent, unfair mess for those who are not Saved©.

Look, the LORD is first and foremost a holy and righteous God. So holy is He that He cannot tolerate sin. He is a God whose anger burns against the wicked and disobedient (Isaiah 5:25; Hosea 8:5; Zechariah 10:3). The Bible also tells us that He hates all manner of sin (Proverbs 6:16-19). And while He is merciful, there are limits to His mercy.

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Isaiah 55:6-7

Because God is just and righteous, He cannot allow our sin, the sin we were born to commit under His Perfect Yet Incomprehensible Divine Plan, to go unpunished. He doesn't care whether or not we know anything about it or how to be free from it. Someone has to pay for it. The greatest gift He provided, then, was His own payment for our sin (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Then why are you trying to change our minds? The fact is, you don't respect our personal opinions, or our personal convictions. You respect rational thinking. Why not just admit it, repent of it, and accept Jesus Christ into your heart?
