I would like to suggest that as your Bible and Scripture was written in a time that people lived in mud huts, it does not include electricity? Home computers? Photography? Graphic design packages?

It is contrary to all of your arguments that you can pick and choose what to use and accept and what not, based on your Bible. Surely i can do the same on all counts. You do not accept laser pointers, yet you obviously accept electricity. I'm willing to bet theres a blanket quote that can be interpreted to suit your needs on both counts. Which is where the main point lies - your Bible is akin to Astrology. Complete fabrication open to interpretation.

Okay, now this is just getting silly.

First of all, if you jumped on a moving truck, there is wind resistance. The wind doesn't affect the truck much because it is moving forward. If you jump, then you have the movement of the truck, as well as the earth, but the wind will slow you down, and therefore you would not land on the truck. Airplanes move a lot faster than trucks, and yet if you jump while inside one of them you don't suddenly fly to the back of the plane. The reason there is no air resistance when jumping with the earth is that the air is moving with the earth's gravitational pull.

Second of all, any physicist will tell you that centrifugal force doesn't exist. And all objects have gravity, which is based on their mass. In case you didn't notice, the earth weighs more than most balloons (I know mass and weight aren't the same thing, just bear with me). The force of the earth's gravity is much greater than the force of a balloon's gravity, especially since the earth is solid and a balloon is not, so the paper will naturally go down to the ground.

For the third one, you kind of proved that the earth is round and not flat. You clearly don't understand how big the world is. It's big. We are tiny tiny little specs on the face of the earth. It is so big that we can't see the curves unless we are hundreds of miles above the surface. Planes on average fly 8 or 9 miles above the surface. Therefore, someone in a plane couldn't possibly be high enough to see the earth's curvature. As we look onto the horizon, and we see someone going so far out that we can't see them, does that mean they fell off the edge of the earth? Well, for one, the earth would have to be very small for that to be possible. Like, about the size of a state. And if it was the size of a town, don't you think it'd be easier to find the edges? The reason ships appear to fall out of sight when it gets very very far away is because of the earth's round shape.

And what about all of those people that went into space and saw the planet for themselves from a distance? Please don't say they're just looking at the flat part of it. They've seen it from all sorts of different angles, and it's round no matter which way you look at it.

But really, ancient Greece proved the earth wasn't flat. In case you don't know just how long ago that is, let me just say that you people really need to get with the times.

You already accept the sun revolving around the earth, because that is the only possible way for day and night to happen if the earth doesn't move. And because they didn't prove them. They proved the earth was round after at first believing it was flat.

There is no evidence for the actual existence of satellites. Most, if not all photographs claimed to be taken from space have been proven to be simple forgeries.

Quite simple. Little transmitters are attached to tethered weather ballons. If you have a GPS that shows the locations of the transmitters, you'll notice they move about. That is because the ballons run t of gas and they have to get refilled. While this is going on, other ones are sent up on the string.

Secular science teaches that its the time it takes for the Earth to complete one revolution around the sun.

Farther around the curve. Now what does words around, curve and farther mean?

No where was the claim made that being able to see more of the curve from a distance would allow you to see behind the curve. I do not know why you insist on continuing with that argument, as it serves no logical point in any discourse.


The idea is that as distance increases you can see more of the curve. You can go test this yourself. Go get a beach ball or a volley ball or some other ball, and hold it really close to your eye. Note how much of it you can see, then slowly pull the ball away. You'll note that as you move further from the ball, you can see more of the curve until you get to a point where you can see two points on the ball that have parallel tangent lines.
