I'm a bit concerned that you would deem it perfectly acceptable to try to convince people that the earth is flat when it was proven many years ago that it is indeed round. There are countless books in your local library that will support the claim of the earth being round, something you must have seen by now.

If you truly believe the earth is flat, i would urge you to go to your local library, which is a vault filled with information, and you will find that not only is the earth round, but also that gravity, while labeled "theory" does play an important role in how we stay atop the earths surface.

I'm just curious if you really never took the time to educate yourself on our planet/s, gravity, and the like, or if you'd prefer that those reading this forum simply take what you write on your word and never educate themselves?

I urge anyone who reads something on this forum to look up 2 to 3 examples that support these claims. Go to your local library, if you can't find a claim that matches that of this forum, there is a high likelihood that this forum is incorrect on that subject.

If I'm not mistaken, the bible has plenty of references to educating yourself, for example:

I urge anyone who believes that the earth is flat to go to library and pick up a book. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, there are thousands of online tools to educate yourself on how the earth spins/works.

I am not calling Rev. Osborne a liar, as i believe that he is truly under the impression that the earth is flat. This is simply false, it has been for quite some time now.

I cannot convince you simply by writing a post, nor should this convince you that the earth is round. All i hope to achieve is to have at least 1 person go to their local library and pick up a book in reference to the earth being spherical. Also, i would gladly provide links to resources that would strengthen this claim.

Our Rev Jim is a pretty smart man, and he is just trying to educate others. In fact, i believe it was by his efforts that the Landover Baptist Church library was formed in the first place. So, thank you but we're doing quite well with the library situation. we have all kinds of books there by MANY different authors on Creation Science, Biblical Geology and so forth. thanks tho.
