        You already asked this question (in a much politer way, not sure how swearing is supposed to help). Christopher Columbus was trying to find a western route to China, he ended up in the West Indies. So how exactly does this prove that the earth is a ball?

          Okay so I am a christian and everything. I just found this forum today thinking I'd be here with very intelligent God fearing, His word spreading, people. . . but this thread. I've decided to not partake in this forums.

          This entire forum is full of retards. The world is not flat.

          I am not even going to try to prove it. I am not even going to come back here to read your witty comments about it being flat. I am not going to be here to read about how "he left because he CANT prove it."

                        Here is another experiment to prove the earth is flat. Take a marble and put it on the ground. Does it roll off? If the earth was round, like a balloon it would roll right off wouldn't it? See? The earth IS flat!

                                While your experiment is a nice start, it takes only the minor adjustment of using a sloped surface to come to a completely false conclusion. Again, the earth isn't flat like a perfect mirror, but it's bumpy.

                                The point of proper science and proper logic is that the conclusion is inescapably the only correct one. It would be a shame if the ballers used your own arguments against you.
