In history, people were afraid that when you reach the end of the world, you would fall.

That is because they didn't realize at that time that God had formed an icy rim around it, too high for a human to get over. Remember, they weren't as inquisitive as people are these days.

To this day, if you head west, would you not end up back to where you were? Take a vacation, my friend, and travel around the world. You will see more than what a book tells you.

That's ridiculous! When I lived in Australia, I travelled from Sydney to Perth. The only way I got back over east was to board an aircraft to take me back over there. The fact that the aircraft made a return journey in no way supports your theory. People fly ACROSS the world, not around it.

Aside from the videos, what are your thoughts on lunar eclipses? the shadow we see on the moon is round. As well, why is it that when you stand on a shoreline, watching a ship sail away, it slowly disappears from the bottom up? if the earth were flat, should we not be able to see the boat forever? And lastly, if the earth were flat, wouldn't everyone in the world experience night at the same time? Some of you may say, how do I know that the world doesn't experience the same daylight cycle? Well, when I call my mom who lives in British Columbia at 10:00pm here in ontario, she tells me that the sun is still shining. I know she wouldn't lie to me :p

Actually, when I watch ships from the shoreline, they disappear into the haze. I've never seen a ship disappear from the bottom up.

I'm sorry, what are you implying when you say "the canadian education system"? the sun's light is not 'directed' like a flashlight is. It shines in all directions, which should mean it will cover the entire surface of earth if it was flat, no? as for the boat, that comes from your lack of inexperience, meaning my statement is still valid thanks for the reply though!

I will follow your method for this example. If the sun's light is directed onto half of the earth's surface creating daytime, and I am standing outside on the dark half, then why can I see the moon illuminated by the sun? this should not happen unless the sun's rays span all directions

1. I don't really have an opinion on Lunar Eclipses. If God made them, then they must be good.

2. Explained before. You can only see so far. The bottom of the boat is hidden because of the waves.

3. Timezones do exist. On you spherical earthers claim timezones cannot exist on a flat earth.

Yes, the Canadian system is bad. Kids are graduating even though they're illiterate. They've decided that failing a child is bad for their self-esteem, so it's better to push the idiot through. In the name of "inclusion" (because that's what Canada's about right?) they put the retards in the same classes as the brilliant kids and make the brilliant kids suffer and miss learning situations because the teacher is still trying to explain things to the retard. Oh and if the smart kid gets bored and starts acting out, well that's what Ritalin's for isn't it.

If this isn't true, please explain how I ended up in a Canadian University where about half the class did not understand that -7+5 was not -12.

I can assure you that in the 134 pages of this thread alone, any atheist argument has been twarted. I know this as what you have written has been done time and time and time again. I didn't yell at you and in all honesty, you really shouldn't be so precious, considering you have come into our forum, our Christian Forum no less, attempting to tell us that God is wrong. You have also flouted a forum rule by not posting an introduction prior to posting. It is no secret. It is in the NooBs read this first threads.

I cannot comment on the Canadian secular school system as I try not to interact with liebral people if possible and as such,have never been to Canada nor interacted with a Canadian until now. If however it is anything like the Australian secular schooling system, then my Brother and Sister in Christ would be right.
