Oh I don't hate them. I just figured it would decrease the pleasure I get nightly from my Catholic girlfriend after she performs other acts that I will not bring up. Don't want to get you too excited.

Great points, I can see why it's tough to argue against that. And, while I do in-fact appreciate you quoting those scriptures, I was still wondering if your teachings express the belief that what one reads in the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John is actually the word of God, or the words of Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John, respectfully of course.

In other words, it was taught to me that Matthew wasn't written by God, but was a Gospel written by Matthew that told the accounts of God and his one and only Son, Jesus.

Do you believe that Matthew was written by God or by a man inspired by God?

2nd Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

For the record, I do consider myself to be a Christian, and do believe in God. Just didn't grow up to have the same type of faith as you guys have. So, please keep that in mind, that just because of where I grew up, I have a slightly different belief system than the majority here.

What about the simple fact that Earth looks like a round sphere from space? There are pictures of it from satelites. And speaking of satelites, why don't they just fall out of orbit? The entire basis of orbit isbased on the well known fact that the earth is a sphere. If it wasn't, gravity wouldn't exist, and we would all float away... so yeah... plenty of evidence on the sphere theory...

You are trying to disprove the earth is flat by overlaying your spherical theory. As for your satellite reference, this has been explained previously.

2. I think I have supplied enough hard evidence that the earth is indeed flat.

3. Very true. I would be afraid of falling of the edge of the earth. At least I will end up in Heaven.

4. Only spherical earthers believe you end up at the same spot by continually travelling in the same direction.

5. When ever I go on holidays I always read more than one travel brochure or travel guide book.
