When a child is born, it knows nothing, it is a lot like a Chia. Over time, it slowly becomes aware. Because the child is unaware, it cannot give itself to baby Jesus. It has to be to understand what it is doing. Because of this, many childrent to do not repent and become Baptized until they are close to ten years old. Until that point, they are uncommited to
Jesus and therefore, are not one of Gods children (not yet anyways). So until that happens, the person has no value. Now, all people are not the same in the eyes of our benovolent Lord. Just like not everyone is tall or blonde haried and blue eyed.

Friend, I think you'd get a kick out of reading the KJV Bible. All kinds of terrific adventure stories, spy stories, even some mushy ones. In all of the words are terrific messages, ones you should never forget as they are all Gods thoughts.

Almost correct, it is true that the ball-earthers have no proof whatsoever for their heathen beliefs, but us True Christians™ have the perfect Word of God (i.e. the KJV 1611) that proves earth is a disk.

We discussed this matter in our german board a few months ago. I remember suggesting that people who thing the earth is a ball, should try to walk on an oversized ball.
Now when there is gravity, why can you walk on a ballformed earth but not on another ball.

One of the many erroneous argument I hear for a non-biblically round or spherical earth is the way, when standing on a flat plane, there is a horizon.

Rays emanate from the eye, hit an object and return, thus providing us with an image of that object.

People have different powers of vision; some may see for miles, some may have their vision of anything meaningful stop at about 10 foot. It is the strength of this power of sending forth the rays that is critical. Obviously, rays will fall down to the ground after a while and this is the limit of our sight, and, this is thus your personal horizon. There is absolutely no need to go imagining a round or spherical earth.

I have questions. How can these rays bend? Or do they stop (or do they become out of range to be "seen")?
What kind of "ray" is this? Light? Does it travel by the speed of light (by figure of speech)? If it eminates from the eye, why can't we see in the dark? Does it depend on the sun in some way? Why? And why can't we
see other peoples' rays? Shouldn't we be able to?

I do assume rays emanate from the eyes with you, but I believe the horizon
is not only at your maximum sight range, but it's the point where rays
diffuse too much to be comprehended. I don't think they fall dead. That's why you can't see in mist. The rays simply diffuse amongst all the particles.

I'm not saying the earth is spherical (NOT AT ALL), but I don't think this proves the earth is flat either.

From a couple of feet distance, you can see half a balloon, looking down upon it. So if a tree could be seen from all over the world, a half-spherical earth is a possibility. And so is a hollow earth (which we christians all know is untrue).

Is there any way we can discuss this possibility?

Also, what slipped into my mind, is that if a tree would grow this big, the media would propably be all over it, writing about it, broadcasting it. Thus making it a sight for all.

We have already proved countless times the earth is flat. To say the earth is half round is like saying your a bi-sexual or half homer.

Imagine a hose pipe... you hold it horizontally and, depending upon the force behind the water, the water travels horizontally but then falls.

What kind of "ray" is this? Light?

It is mysterious and God-Given (except to those He makes blind.)

My hypothesis is that the rays hit other light rays in the atmosphere and push those in the general direction in which we are looking. There are no light rays in the dark.

I joined just to talk about a new disease that i have noticed running rampant around the world. it is called "stupid" and no cure is yet available. symptoms include, but are not limited to: people thinking the world is flat, not using turn signals, those that do not understand gravity, those that think science is a load of crap.

Heres a "scientific" investigation you can try to prove gravity exists, throw a large object directly upwards in the air, and stand underneath it. does it return to earth and knock you out? if so.. chances are, gravity is real.
