I am not being arrogant, just trying to make understand the earth is indeed flat.

It is not fair to expect every poster to read 100+ pages of non-sensical "arguments" and "proofs" just to express their opinion on a topic.

If people stopped posting the same things over and over again, then the tread would not be as long as it is.

I'm not particularly easily impressed, I'm just impressed that you actually bothered reading the entire post (assuming you did) when you never had any intention of listening to the points made. Do I find making ice blocks a miracle? How about no? Is that a relevant question? Again, no! Are you even thinking or just stringing random words together?

Of course I read your comment. Why else would I say what I did. All my makes sense, it is not my fault if people cannot understand them.

This thread seems almost cute at first, like children trying to play scientist but it becomes greatly disheartening when you realise that people actually believe this to be adn accurate view of the world.

So how do helium balloons work? I presume you have given your kid one of those balloons that float? How do hot air balloons work? They rise until the gas (which is lighter than the surrounding air) runs out. Then they fall back, due to the effect of gravity.

And how would they have recovered the phone if gravity had not pulled it back? Of course if pulled it back!!!

How does one explain the lack of an edge to the earth if it is indeed flat? And why would there be such long periods of only night or only day in the arctic circle? Or simply the concept of night and day in the first place, if the earth were not spinning and allowing light from the sun to be hitting different parts of the earth?

Antarctica. The North Pole is the dead center of the disk and Antarctica surrounds the earth with a massive wall of ice. That is what keeps the water from flowing over the edge.

Exactly. That's how much these false science classes have warped our children's education. Not only do they believe the earth is round, they think the sun is somehow thousands of times bigger than the Earth and millions of miles away.

Nothing could be further from the Truth. Our own Pastor Billy-Reuben has proven with mathematics that the sun is no more than 500 miles away.

That doesn't make sense. The first post in this thread concedes that the higher up the farther you see.

The altitude that you jump from is much lower than the altitude planes cruise at.

At the height the plane cruises at you can see the curvature of the earth.

Of course the higher you go the more you can see. Did I deny that. Stop putting words in my mouth.

You cannot see any curvature of the earth because there is no curve.

Spinning is forward circular movement. If you roll a ball forward in one direction it is spinning. It is like moving your hand around in the air in a circle.

Things spin in different directions. We all cannot be spinning in the same direction.

The train is moving around. When you jump in the train you don't move. When you jump on Earth you don't move. Both are moving.

Well face in each direction of a compass, then jump and a see what happens. Using your logic, there would be only one spot where you don't move.

I'll say this in a way you can understand:
Hydrogen is lighter than air.
Hydrogen weighs 1,008 g/mole
Air is made out of Nitrogen, Oxygen and some other gases.
Nitrogen weighs 14,007 g/mole and Oxygen 15,999 g/mole.

And due to gravity, the heaviest things are on the bottom. Just as if you were to drop a hammer in a pool of water.

The balloon was filled with hydrogen. When the pressure becomes lower because the gravity becomes less effective, the balloon eventually bursts and then there's nothing else to lift the iPhone. The gravity grabs hold onto it and pulls it back to earth.

Did you understand, or do I have to make it even more simple for you? Should I draw a picture?

It feels weird, I'm only 18 years old yet I'm surrounded with incompetent adults.
