I also used this username simply because I couldn't think of anything better. I'm white and I live in South-west England. And nobody in England wears a powdered wig. Judges and Barristers wear wigs in court but that's all.

You only need one shepherd to make a shepherd's pie. See, you didn't notice I missed the apostrophe on the question.

The three reasons it's an English delicacy are:

1) English are cannibals: FACT.

2) It's a sloppy, slimy, noisome dish, ideal for people with rotting or non-existent teeth.

3) The sheep sperm contained in the shepherd's stomach cavity adds a flavor that the Britishers find delectable.

Just keep this in mind, next time you pretend to be an Englisher on the internets.
