Yes. They make lovely decorations. They do not prove the earth is a sphere. Have you seen anyone use them for navigation. Next time you are on a plane look in the cabin and see if you find one.

It certainly provides better evidence than a few words in a 2 thousand year old book.

That is because it is zoomed far in. If you open Google Earth, or Microsoft Virtual Earth, Earth will be a sphere fully zoomed out. It will appear flat zoomed in because the curvature of the Earth is hard to see at such a level.

Also when I went to a Christian private school, my 3rd grade teacher told us that there was not a soul on this Earth that God didn't love.
Yet, if Pastor Ezekiel, someone I know from the internet, read something in a 2000 year old book written by desert people in tents, he must be right, and there's not a possible chance I am.
