Try to contribute to an informative discussion about God and Jesus just once. I dare you.

You are very rude, and not particularly bright yourself. Moreover, you seem to lack empathy and concern for others seeing as how you don't care about their spiritual well-being.

Landover Baptist Church cares. It is why we keep plugging away, showing people the Truth® of the Bible, so they can be free as we are.

Can I talk to you somewhere else? I ran out of image storage- whoops- like idk on discord? (That's an app btw)

Eclipses are simply one flat surface passing in front of another. Cut out a piece of cardboard the size of the full (flat) moon you are looking at. Move the cardboard slowly across your view of the moon and you have completed the experiment. You have done a lab exorcise simulating an eclipse.

Yes. I've seaen it, on a hill at sunrise when there's a full moon. Pretty obvious really - but that doesn't mean they're not attached to The Firmament. Just out of curiosity, what shape do you think it is?

How about we do some actual science here. What I will describe is a science project teachers at Freehold Public Schools do every term.

The next time there is a full moon, cut out a circle from a piece of cardboard. Make the circle about the same size as the full moon you are looking at.

Then, hold the cardboard in front of the moon. If you move it slightly to the left or to the right you have a crescent moon. Guess what. The moon is flat, the cardboard is flat. That's proof of the flat moon and earth God created.

    Here is another round object.

It is a Scottish penny from the early 14th century. Clearly it is the same shape as the moon, according to your own arguments. And if you stick it on the ceiling of an igloo you'd have a very good approximation to what God explains in The Bible. By drilling through the igloo you could even see it edgeways but so far nobody's drilled through The Firmament.
As you haven't addressed my example of the round coin, we'll assume that we agree. The next problem is that using your ideas about lunar and solar motion requires both objects to have momentum. We've established that eclipses occur when the sun passes in front of the moon so the moon is obscured—this happens every month—or, less frequently, when the moon obscures the sun. There are other theories but here we're addressing your confusion and that requires them to be moving in very specific ways. What happens according to your theory when they both stop? What happens when the sun moves backwards? These are historical events where conservation of momentum (or angular momentum in the case of a ball-shaped earth weighing many tons) fails bigly.

Without coming out categorically for one particular model of how objects are attached to The Firmament, any theory requiring gargantuan momentum to be overcome in just a few minutes—an hour, tops—cannot be plausible. Notice I'm not saying it's false: there needs to be an explanation: it's a solution I'd be very interested to hear.

Someone, somewhere, is yelling "BINGO!" after filling their "atheist fallacy" card.

...And we don't care about you people either. Go to hell.

The hell that you don't believe in. Logic intensifies.

Aww, bless your little heart. I needed a little laughter in my day. Thanks for being so predictable. You may not be making any real sense, but you've arrived at the very same place as so many obtuse trolls before you.

And little one, let me assure you that my knowledge of the Bible has instilled in me an utter and profound confidence that I will not be going to Hell.

It's a wonderful feeling, by the way. I wish the same to all humankind.
