That comment about Harvard reminds me of a good sermon I listened to a few months ago. Colleges such as Harvard and Duke were intended to be a bastion for Christian values - and today they are an institution of smut! They also encourage sin! I hope President Trump can get these schools on the straight path asap!

So often here at Landover Baptist we have people who think of themselves as smart showing us doctored pictures of something they think is the earth. Or, sometimes it is diagrams of the moon or sun. What we need to resolve once and for all is this simple question: Is the earth round or flat?? The answer is at your local hardware store. Buy a level, put it on the ground and look at where the bubble is. Here is a picture:

I am somewhat familiar with the Flat Earth study. The way it works is Earth is a flat plane with the Arctic in the center and Antarctica (and beyond) around the edges. The sun and the moon travel in a circle above the Earth, at different speeds respectively. I believe this sets the stage for the following Flat Earth truths.

Yes, we can see the sun and moon at the same time, but this actually proves the Earth is round, not flat, The Moon is in an elliptical orbit around the earth, being influenced by the Earths gravity. The reason we see them at the same time is due to The Moon being at a different point in its orbit, this also causes Moon Phases. The Moons gravity also creates Tides, making water bulge upwards when the Moon is over head or on the opposite side of Earth from us, and making the water level go down when its rising or setting for us. The sun rising and setting is due to this rotation, rising in the East, setting in the west. But on a flat earth model, to our eyes, the sun and moon would go across a weird line from east to west, with it growing when it reaches Eastern point if this line, and shrinking when it reaches the Western point in the sky. Seasons occur due to Earths tilt on its axis, about 23.5°, in winter, the tilt makes the Northern Hemisphere tilted away from the sun, making less sunlight and heat hit the North, making it colder, and in the summer, The Northern Hemisphere is facing the sun head on, making more sunlight and heat his the North, making it hot. Also, there is no land beyond Antarctica, Antarctica is the South Pole of Earth, and you can actually go there, a few times a year, people can buy tickets to a cruise to Antarctica. By the way, Seasons also affect the length of Day and Night, in the Arctic, (where people live), during the winter, the sun almost never rises above the horizon, but during summer, the sun is out almost 24/7, but on most of your models, you show an arbitrary straight line through the circle, and you think its good enough, and no one will check any sources. Also, on most models depicting Seasons, you dont show the day and Night at all, because if you did, they wouldnt make any sense, so i challenge any of you ti make a model depicting Seasons and an accurate day and Night cycle, including the arctics 6 months of darkness and 6 months of light. And dont forget to include the opposite for Antarctica, 6 months of sunlight in Northern Winter, and 6 hours of darkness in Northern Summer. And Eclipses twice every year due to the Moons tilt, and also show how Mercury and Venus orbit the sun, but you never show it. Hmmm. I'll let you get to it.
