im not talking about reading the bible for a literal meaning because if we do that then wearing clothes of blended material and cutting your hair would be unthinkable for any catholic (Leviticus 19:19-27). What im talking about is reading for the true message and not getting caught up on the details. At the end of the day religion's petty rules and explanations of nature are out dated but what isnt out dated is the message that jesus and buddah and Mohammed and moses were all preaching: treat others as you would like to be treated.
