Just to mention, the GPS satellites aren't geostationary. They pass across the sky once every 12 hours, so don't remain stationary relative to the Earth.

They are stationary in the firmament. The firmament rotates.

I don't know, this is a fascinating place. Not even the people at the FES where so unreceptive. Everyone here is so...angry. It's amazing how you are so instantly hateful of anything against your world view and supportive for anything for it. I mean, I've been as gentle and civil as possible, yet I've already been voted down and I expect this post will merit many more. I've even been labeled as an atheist many times, although at no point have I hinted at my religion.

Perhaps what I find most odd is there's no analysis or reason, just faith. I question the need for a discussion forum. What is there to discuss? You know how the world is already. Nothing here is going to change it. For example, this thread. It has nothing to do with voyager's approach of the heliopause. It's just you guys saying 'all scientists are wrong' over and over. It's much the same thing as every other thread reporting on something that's happened in the scientific world. There's no science of any kind, just name calling, which strangely enough you take great offense at if someone does it to you.


Alas, I'm nattering on a bit. I mean you no offense, I was merely satisfying my curiosity as to what you people where like. My time here has been much shorter than I expected, and it seems despite my attempts to appear amiable you are annoyed by me. I have said my two cents, and I guess that I should leave you be. I have noticed when ever a scientist is directly caught in a LIE they never admit they are contradicting Holy Scripture, they just make up another LIE!!

Reading through this thread, I see imaginary made up folderol like 'neutrinos', 'light years', and 'geostationary', among others. Whenever a True Christian trips up a scientist, bingo, more on the spot, pathetic lies.

It is hard to imagine with every thing else Satan has to do (tormenting BILLIONS of sinners 24/7/365/6000) that he also has time to cook up all this scientific hokum, but there you have it!
