Re: Hello, I noticed that many of you don't understand evolution.

Ezekiel, I've already answered most of those questions. God made us. God made us using evolution as his tool. It's not a far out theory. It fits with both religions and with common scientific facts.

For the love of God William. Click the linked text she quoted before calling me a liar. My text did come from the link she provided. The second one. No need to apologize, I accept.

I believe you have to interpret the Bible in order for it to be relevant and make sense. Do I believe God was angry at people for building a big tower called Babel that would reach heaven? No I don't because heaven isn't 1000 feet in the air. Obviously some parts of the Bible specifically the earlier chapters were not from the mouth of God.

People wrote these texts. People didn't understand the world they lived in so they sometimes had to take a creative liberty. If the bible is literal, tell me where are the dinosaurs? I'm not saying this disproves the Bible's legitimacy, but it in fact confirms one cannot take everything in the Bible word for word.

Once again you are spouting off about things you are completely ignorant of. God Himself gave us the Holy KJV1611 Bible. Take a look at THIS!

And once again I will repeat; radio carbon dating is a failed theory. Scientists pulled that out of their behinds. I challenge you to answer THESE questions.

Radiometric dating involves the use of isotope series, such as rubidium/strontium, thorium/lead, potassium/argon, argon/argon, or uranium/lead, all of which have very long half-lives, ranging from 0.7 to 48.6 billion years. Subtle differences in the relative proportions of the two isotopes can give good dates for rocks of any age.

Oh and lookie here! Right under the paragraph you quoted yourself:

I will admit, I was totally incorrect on the carbon dating. It's not available for use past 5700 years. However, that's not to say dates cannot be calculated.

Do yourself a favor. When citing a source and providing a link to that source: Read it through. By citing it for your argument, you're practically agreeing with it, thus disproving what you said.
(If you want, you can post 'Case Closed' right about now.)

First you apologize for not understanding Carbon Dating, then you compound your error by not reading and comprehending the link the good Sister provided:

" We’ve listed five faulty assumptions here that have caused overestimates of age using the carbon-14 method. The list of non-compliant dates from this method is endless. Most evolutionists today would conclude that carbon-14 dating is – at best – reliable for only the last 3000 to 3500 years."
In summary, you call yourself a "Christian" but reject the Truth of the Bible (KJV1611).

Anything you say? So if I were to find 50 things you've said that are either completely false or completely wrong would you leave these forums? After such a concrete statement on your part I suppose it would be an easy decision for yourself.

Props on the rebuking of demons by the way. Racist insults are definitely my weapon of choice when fighting demons. You've been taught by the best.

I worship a queer video game invented by chinks? News to me! You must know me better than I know myself!

I'm a True Christian™, because that is my name, and good for you!

I've read it, it's as boring as Harry Potter.

Rejecting fossil data cannot be supported by proof.
Fossils prove that humans did not exist alongside dinosaurs.

I'm sorry, you mustn't have read a single post in this thread other than your own because the subject is still open to much discussion. Nothing has been proved on either side...Carbon dating has been proving that the world is millions of years old. Please, do not give me crap about some conspiracy between scientists to keep you all in the dark about this. When numerous divisions of scientists determine the same results independently from each other, I'd say it's grounds for a solid conclusion. A conclusion that the world was not created a few thousand years ago. I don't understand why it's so hard to believe this just because it's not listed in the Bible. Maybe it is true that everything in the Bible is true, I suppose that's up to personal interpretation. But can there be truths that were not explained in the Bible? Why can't something have happened that wasn't in the Bible? Answer me that.

look, for anyone who wishes to be informed here, evolution does/did happen, Humans were created seperatly(spelling) but everything else that was created along side them HAS evolved, just not the way modern anti-religious scientists think, the genes don't randomly change, at least not in any of the social animals, yet they have changed, want to know how, god decides what the genes do, and he can decide that they behave different anytime, and he does

Or what about the theory that evilution started when there was nothing in the universe except for one tiny little ball, then that just exploded all by itself and everything came into being? You don't care how silly any of this sounds, do you? Not as long as it gives you an excuse to further turn your back on God!

Hey guys, I can do it too!!!
Take a look around before you make foolish assumptions and try to determine the hidden meanings of words. It's the same with that stupid Super Mario game. It doesn't make you look intelligent, it makes you look like you look a little on the ignorant side. The English language was created over thousands of years, what in the world makes you the linguistic authority to capitalize letters in a weak effort to add legitimacy to your claims?

That out of the way, I myself am a Christian. How could I capitalize such letters to make a mockery of my faith you ask? The truth is, it doesn't make a mockery of my faith because it has no legitimacy. The same goes with your clever little way of spelling 'evolution' as 'evilution'. Congratulations, I can tell your one of the 65% dropouts. Your parents must have been proud.

    "Case closed" you claim?
I'm sorry, you mustn't have read a single post in this thread other than your own because the subject is still open to much discussion. Nothing has been proved on either side.

I agree with the thread starter in that, why do many Christians take it upon themselves to condemn evolution without another thought? The fact of the matter is that it isn't entirely impossible that evolution exists. It's been neither proved nor disproved as a law. Is it not possible that an omnipotent, and completely powerful God could not have used evolution as a tool for the creation of man? Why is that so hard to believe? God is all powerful, he could have done it however he pleased.

Carbon dating has been proving that the world is millions of years old. Please, do not give me crap about some conspiracy between scientists to keep you all in the dark about this. When numerous divisions of scientists determine the same results independently from each other, I'd say it's grounds for a solid conclusion. Why can't something have happened that wasn't in the Bible? Answer me that.

Now please, if you choose to argue with my post, do so carefully and methodically. Don't tell me all discussion is over without qualifying your reasons. Don't ask my for proof without providing your own.

--Thank you for your time, ultima.

Sister Mary Maria is right: scientists are inherently irrational. The effects of education have undermined their ability to think about God's truth.

The following statistics are a little out-of-date but they make the point.

0.2% of professional American scientists believe in creationism.
65% of American high-school droppouts believe in creationism.

Higher education is indeed a high-road to a low place...HELL!

Unless young people choose a good institution like Bob Jones University, they run the risk of being turned away from the truth of Jesus by secular evil-thinkers.
