  • Super Moon: What's So Special?

I saw the full moon on Saturday night and it didn't look so special to me. I've seen a lot of full moons (believe me!) and they all look the same.

I have this feeling that some rogue meteorologists must get together once in a while to organize these 'events' to make their jobs seem meaningful because they know that they're not doing anything and don't want to get fired.

Don't be surprised if the full moon next month is just as bright as this one.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I think this is all just an underhanded attempt by atheists to get us to worship the moon again, like muslims do.

I'll start paying attention only when the moon starts shining as bright as the sun does:

        Isaiah 30:26:
Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.
        Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
        Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

        Amen.

It amazes me how atheists always succeed into twisting the truth into something unbelievably twisted. The fact that God made the moon a little bigger lately should be the ultimate proof of His existence. Silly theories about the Moon being an entire planet have been crushed by the Moon becoming bigger. After all, according to atheists, planets have a fixed size that doesn't change over time. Yet even when absolute proof that the Moon can not be a planet is presented by God himself, by the miracle of a bigger moon, atheists still persist in their silly theories. Their stupidity keeps amazing me.

OH! My bad! I thought a Super Moon is what I glimpsed when Spock was bending over fixing his instrument array!

A Supermoon is when the moon makes it's closest elliptical orbit, thus making it the largest size than usual as seen from earth.

Rubbish the moon is always the same same size. Scientists always tell us that mass always stays the same: make up your minds

You're are correct. The moon is the same size, but, like I said, the distance is different (perigee), thus making it larger. (it's logic)

So, the moon is the same size but larger.

                    Got it.
