Sorry to quote a post from 2008, but light is too fast to be affected by Earth's gravity, granted, it does distort is a bit, but this is a very minor fraction. Perhaps a few nanometers.

Columbus didn't ever claim to sail round the world. Well he kind of did, but he had only managed to sail across the Atlantic and got all excited. He died, still deluded he had reached Asia.

How would it be dark if the earth was round friend? Light bends from gravity so the light would bend around a round earth making day all the time.

If the 'cliff' pulled him in, how did he be born in Italy, travel around the world and die in none other than Spain?

He sailed in a very large circle. Again, this has ben clearly pointed out already, even with Biblical mappings proving it.

Once a person or vessel gets close enough to 'see it' , the intelligent pulling is stronger than man and all that are in the proximity are pulled over the edge.

It's just a computer generated animation -- or not really so much animation as a series of computer generated images that are zoomed, panned, and rotated.

The clouds look good -- they obviously used a fractal noise generator to add them -- but look at the poorly done satellite whizzing by at 1:00. Honestly, it looks like they just stuck in a piece of clipart they found on the web.
