Answer the question: if you wish to use the "law" of conservation of mass (which is now quite meaningless in a relativistic, quantum-mechanics driven universe), then you must establish a boundary for the system in question.

    So where is this boundary?

It's a shame you don't know the definitions of the words you use.

There is only a particular fixed volume of water on Earth. There is not an infinite amount of water, as I tried to explain to the last idiot.

Do you deny this? If you do, you're even dumber than I thought.

Water and coal are BOTH limited resources. There is not an infinite amount of water or of coal.

Do you know why nuclear power plants are considered so bad by enviro-whackos? Not because of the nuclear waste issue; because on average they use a million gallons of fresh water per day. If that was a "renewable resource", why would anyone care?

Fresh, clean, drinkable water is most assuredly a limited resource. Ask the Muslims in Saudi Arabia. Ask the kids in Africa dying of dysentery or cholera because they don't have clean water.

The only way to make more fresh, clean drinking water is to distill seawater, which is incredibly expensive and energy-intensive work.

So you also think that there is an infinite amount of water on Earth?

Of course there isn't an infinite amount of water on the Earth! I never even made a reference to the amount of water the planet contains, infinite or otherwise.

The argument I WILL argue is that there is a finite amount of water on the planet, but it is recycled naturally.

No argument there . . . I thought it rather apparent. It's even described in the Bible.

So what's your point, then? You joined the forum so you could tell us you agree with us?

I'm just pointing out the fact that the infographic you posted is incorrect.

I'm not trying to debate anything with anyone, though the warnings and infractions I am receiving say otherwise. I apologize if I offend anyone, I just feel that if an argument is weak, the weakness should be pointed out so the person arguing it can strengthen their argument.

I'm not going to say God is or isn't real, I'm just letting you know the argument is flawed.

First of all, this is NOT a debate forum. We're right and you're wrong, according to Jesus. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself.

Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .

If you want to debate people, THIS is the place to go.

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.

based on the original logic of this thread... if water is a finite resource, and does not just go away... can someone explain where all the water from the flood went?

It went back under the earth.

Genesis 1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

I'm a Christian myself, and a student of science. As many have tried to explain, water is in fact a renewable resource, for many reasons. One of these is the fact that each time with exhale with are also releasing water vapour, with returns to the air and back to the water cycle. For those of you who don't know the water cycle, please do some research before posting about this, water is recycled naturally in numerous ways. Also, the mathematics of this are deeply flawed as we have not always had that amount of liquid water and the earth has not been populated by 6 million humans for the last 6,000 years. Now a days humans also aid the water cycle by cleaning and purifying salt and waste water, the water on earth may be fixed, but it is not destroyed once it enters our bodies, it returns to the natural cycle.
