Re: The "Big Bang"
"Scientists" say the universe is 14 billion years old. The universe is actually about 6,000 years old. The "scientists" are off by a factor of 2.3 million. If you can't do the math, at least show us the courtesy of shutting up.
God is very busy, so he doesn't like to dawdle or procrastinate.
Nobody cares about your opinion, because you don't back your arguments up with facts.
And yet you, Harpo, seem to have learned how to punctuate (though perhaps not how to capitalize) since you started posting.
The universal refrain of the person who has no evidence with which to back up his argument.
It is eyewitness evidence of everything it encompasses.
Would you believe a book that said it was full of lies? If you want proof, you should look at all of the Biblical prophecy that has come true. Or stop by a Landover healing service, and see people step out of wheelchairs and walk again for the first time in years. There's no scientific explanation for that.
We support the Constitution. But we support it as it was written, not the way activist, anti-Christian, liberal judges have contorted it beyond all recognition.
For example, judges declared a "woman's right to choose" to be a part of the Constitutional right to privacy, yet privacy is not mentioned anywhere in the Constitution.
Here's another one: The First Amendment says that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." Nowhere does it say that you can't have public religious displays, provided you do not promote one church as the established state church. It actively protects our children's right to pray and to learn about Jesus in public schools (that is the free exercise of OUR religion). Nowhere does it talk about actions taken by the President (Congress shall make no law...) or by a city or state government or local school board, yet the courts regularly strike down faith-based programs. Finally, even if you ignore these facts and say that government has to be completely separated from religion, which is far more than the Constitution says, the simple fact is that there is an established religion, Secular Humanism, and it is being shoved down our children's throats without any opportunity for rebuttal or debate.

If God created the Earth in seven days, why did He rush? Why not take the time to make the Earth a little bit better if He's got an eternity.
In my perspective there's either two things that are true: (1) God did not create the universe or (2) our God is an untillegent one.

Scripture isn't evidence, TO ANYTHING.
The concept, "The bible is right, because it says it is" is flawed, and you know that. If I told you I was Jesus, you would say I'm a liar, but if I told you that Jesus is always right, I say I'm Jesus, therefore I am the son of God, and you would still believe I'm not Jesus. Therefore what prove does the Bible give that gives it so much credibility?
