  • Finally - Science acknowledges truth

Here in Ireland we have a formation of rocks know as the Giant's causeway. There has been quite a bit of debate here recenly on its true origin. I know it was created by Giants not lava, sure lava belongs in hell.

I know giants existed and I know that the Earth is 6,000 years old not some ridiculously unbelievable number like 6 Billion as they would have you believe in some 'geological' quarters.

I used my sturdy KJV as proof and give them out free to visitors at the site. I have a poster with the words "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown". Genesis 6:4 Recounting proof from God.

After much lobbying and prayer I have got the scientists to present the truth at an exhibition alongside thier lies. You can read more about it here where some pagans and God Mockers try to have the truth suppressed.

    Dear Liam!

Socalled scientists have never been to be taken seriously. Imagine the amount of people living on earth if our world would be that old. Remember: statistics say that there are 255 babies born, every minute!!!

Seriously, that's stupid. Jesus never complains about a lack of space or air in the bible, therefore the world can not possibly be that old!

And Joschuah begot Jonah and Jonah begot Issiron and Issiron begot Aaron. So the Lord sent a great flood.

Are you saying there's an infinite amount of air on earth?

There's only as much as God makes for us. He could take it away at any moment.
          Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

No I'm saying there is a finite amount of air on earth. After we inhale air we exhale air that is pretty much the same but has a bit more carbon dioxide in it (you know how when you breathe out you can feel your breath, that's air my friends). Then that air with extra carbon dioxide goes back into the atmosphere and swirls around until it runs into a tree. And lucky for us trees are really good at photosynthesizing, which is the process in which they turn air with carbon dioxide in it back to air with lots of oxygen in it. Then that air swirls around the atmosphere a bit until it gets breathed again and the whole process repeats itself. So, long story short.

            1. There is a finite amount of "air" which is actually a mix of nitrogen, oxygen, argon and carbon dioxide, among others
            2. We will not run out of air because air is in the constant cycle which I have just described. Isn't the world a beautiful place!

So what I hear you saying is that God created an intricate and dynamic world perfectly suited for human life. I couldn't agree more friend! Shall we sing praises to Him together?

Don't put words in my mouth.

I do believe that the world is intricate and dynamic and on Earth it is perfectly suited for human life. I do not see any evidence for God anywhere so I don't believe that.

You seem to using invalid logic again here. Here's how I see your argument. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Premise 1 - If God created the world, it would be intricate and dynamic
Premise 2 - The world is intricate and dynamic

The argument you are making is:

If God created the world, it would be intricate and dynamic. The world is intricate and dynamic. Therefore, God created the world.

However, this is an invalid logical statement called affirming the consequence. The second premise being correct says nothing about whether or not the first premise is true or not. It is possible that if some other being created the world it would still be intricate and dynamic. Or if the big bang happened and the universe was born out of a cloud of energy it would still be intricate and dynamic.

So what you're saying is not only did an intricate and dynamic world perfectly suited to human life appear out of nothing , but humans also appeared out of nothing - where? - on that world perfectly suited for them. All of this for no reason at all. Yeah, that makes a whole heap of sense.

And you say my logic is flawed?

Again, please don't put words in my mouth. You seem to have a habit of doing that.

I never mentioned where I think the world or humans come from. The first point I explained was that air is finite but not running out. The second point was that just because the world is intricate and dynamic doesn't require that God created it.

These are the two points I made. Not once did I mention my own personal beliefs about where the world or where humans came from. So please stop putting words in my mouth.

If you have any responses to the two points I made then please respond to them. But again, please do not make up something I did not say then proceed to argue against that.

I haven't rejected the possibility that God did create the world. I was presenting a logical argument.

I don't know. I never claimed to know everything. Just because I don't know something doesn't mean God did it.

                          Here's my argument presented formally.
Premise A - God did "it"
                          Premise B - I don't know how "it" happens/works

If B does not allow one to conclude A. Therefore If I don't know how "it" happens/works does not conclude that God did "it".

The fallacy you are presenting here is called an "ad ignorantiam." This is an argument that states something is true just because we don't know it to not be true.

Sir, the fallacy YOU are presenting is false dichotomy!

A: I know God did it
B: I DO know how it happened - God did it!
