    EDEN: the first garden

I thought it would be nice to have a discussion about Eden that doesn't engender all the controversy of Adam and Eve. I wanted to focus instead on all of the beautiful and wondrous plants that God put on the Earth for Humans to enjoy. The vast quantity and diversity of the flora on the planet is amazing, and is a clear indication of a heavenly creator; who else would have been able to create all that in one day?

    Here are some amazing trees:

Dr Zaius, a beautiful post of the Lord's creations

Le:23:40: And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.

Le:26:4: Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

Song:2:3: As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.

(Ahem, that last verse is sung by a woman... no, really, it is... just in case it's misunderstood... er... it's not me ... it's a woman.)
