    The Lamb of God

Although some of their concepts may be flawed, for they quote from the NIV "bible" instead of the glorious KJV, they may have deciphered the code given to the Chinese in Babel, when their language was invented, about our Lord, Jesus the Christ! Glory and give Him Praise®! You can find their impressive article here. I believe Dr. Hovind to be completely innocent of the alleged crime of "tax evasion", and furthermore believe Hovind's 10 year sentence to be patently unjust and based upon an effort to silence his ministry.

I'm not too happy with this paper Brother Solo. Mind you, I'm open to all manner of corrections - I know on matters of ancient history, your speciality is authoritative. My hackles were raised by the references from the NIV and may have colored my reasoning, for in my mind those references to non-Christian sources show the article for what it is.
The Chinese invented the ancient Chinese characters nearly 4500 years ago.
    […]
Long before the birth of Moses (1500 BC), in the ‘Legendary Period’ (preceding 2205 BC), the Chinese were already offering sacrifices to ShangDi

China was separated from the ancient world by mountains and different languages, therefore making it highly unlikely that the Chinese borrowed the understanding of the sacrificial sheep from the Hebrew people.

Furthermore, the first five books of the Old Testament were written at about 1000 years (1500 BC) after the ancient Chinese Characters were invented. And Christianity did not come to China until the Tang dynasty (AD 618–905); two thousand years had passed since the characters were invented.

While we have limited our study here to the Chinese sheep, we believe that the ancient characters contain a picture of the ancient world as described in the
    Bible.
I note the use of the term, “Legendary Period” which indicates that the there was no writing, so, knowing how untrustworthy slants are, I think that the lack of evidence points to something bogus here.

I note also that the reference to Confucius dates from between 551–479 BC, which is of course, 1000 years after Moses and is the only bit of hard evidence produced.

Looking at the situation after the flood, (2150BC) and the origin of the races of Mankind, we see that Chinese are descended from Ham, Canaan and Heth. So there were no Chinese until at least 2 generations after The Flood.

This presents a problem, because the Chinese characters were allegedly invented c. 2500BC i.e. before the flood, and thus all those with knowledge of them would have been wiped out.

This glaring error is further demonstrated by the Tower of Babel which was built around 1750BC, so, until that date, there was no Chinese language anyway!

The story is steeped in heathen superstition and filled with improbability, contradictions and anachronisms. It looks to me like a cheap Chinese knock-off.

If the paper has got any merit at all, all it shows is that the slants heard the word of God – probably from early Baptist missionaries to whom mountains around China would have been no problem and then, in a typically inscrutable manner, the Chinese changed it to make themselves look good.

Anyway, these are the rantings of an old man - please feel free to correct me.

          Brother Solo,

Are you sure the chinks did not have something else in mind for the sheep ?
