How about you stop using racist terms? Exactly what constitutes a sand-nigra or a camel-nigra?

Here is the definition of the word you insist on using: "In American English, nigra is a euphemistic pronunciation of nigger used in the American South to "more politely" speak of black people derogatorily in non-racist company." In basic terms, you're glossing over the fact that you have decided to use a racist term, rather than simply saying 'black people' or 'Africans'.

A definition. Not THE definition. An arbitrarily chosen piece of quotation you've plucked from an any-old-dictionary Dolphin Publications Children's Dictionary & Thesaurus to suit and serve your own porpoises.

If you can back it up with appropriate Scripture then I'll happily concede your point.

Rev. Osborne, I don't mind what people call me. "Aussie _ _ _ _" (and believe me in England all sorts of interesting words get appended), "white devil" even "blue-eyed Chinese _ _ _ _ _" (Jamaican men seem to favour that particular expression - I don't know what it means - I hope they're being polite, but they're probably not), oh yes: _ _ _ _ing convict, white nigga, gum sucker, htss#$*! = a sort of sucking noise made by placing the tongue behind the teeth and drawing in air (Jamaican women seem to do this a lot) - and guess what? I couldn't care less. Is there something wrong with me?

I cannot be bothered to read this entire thread but I am shocked as to the level of racism that many of you are muttering - it is disgraceful and there is no need for it! If you follow the rules that the bible teaches you then every man should be treated equal regardless of ethnicity or gender!

Also, have any of you considered that the Bible was written by humans, and not God regardless whether it was his words or not (possibly not always?)! - and that times have changed and things should be treated differently - maybe the bible should be used as a tool for good practice not for living your life exactly as it says (or how your racist minds perpetrate it!) but by being caring human beings for your fellow man and planet!

Well, in that case I'm not going to bother with reading your post.

I'll pray for you that the Ritalin will kick in, one day.

The reason I decided not to read its entirety is that it made me sick at how you can act towards fellow human beings. So I will pray for you 'brother' that one day you will come to your senses and treat everyone as equal.

I treat people according to how the Bible wants me to treat them. If you don't agree with that, then what are you doing here?

You do not, you interpret it how you want to interpret it. Maybe discrimination was the 'in-thing' back then but it is not anymore and you should move with the times.

Does this look like a government agency and are you applying for a job? Otherwise, stop being so self righteous about telling people how they should act. Men and women are not equal and never will be.

Have you considered telling this 'news' to the Saudis? Or are you afraid that they will bomb you, too? Maybe you thought that Christians were just a bunch of pansies who you can boss around? Think again, boy.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

                      Matthew 7:12
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

If you had read this thread, friend, you would have known that this is an evident falsehood:

                        Deuteronomy 7:1-6:
                        When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

                        Deuteronomy 23:3-4:
An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever: Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

                        Ezra 9:1-2:
The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.
For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.

                        Jeremiah 13:23:
Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.

                        Matthew 15:22-26:
And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

Also, have any of you considered that the Bible was written by humans, and not God regardless whether it was his words or not (possibly not always?)!
The Entire Bible is written by God:

                        2 Timothy 3:15-17:
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

And even if It weren't, then how would you distinguish between the parts that were and the parts that weren't inspired by God?

                        - and that times have changed and things should be treated differently -
This is such ridiculous nonsense that I still can't believe my eyes when I read this, even though it's not the first time I've seen it.

Why on Earth should anything be treated "differently?" I have met many false christians who claim that, in the Biblical Age, genocide was acceptable (see Numbers 31 and 1 Samuel 15), but not now anymore. Or that, in Old Testamental times, killing people for practicing other religions was allowed, but not now anymore. But why would that be? Why would morality change through the ages? If God said genocide was okay in Old Testamental times, then it is still okay now. After all, God NEVER changes:

                        Hebrews 13:8:
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

                        Malachi 3:6:
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

                        And neither does His Law:

                        Isaiah 40:8:
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

                        Matthew 5:17-19:
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

maybe the bible should be used as a tool for good practice not for living your life exactly as it says (or how your racist minds perpetrate it!) but by being caring human beings for your fellow man and planet!
Could you back this ridiculous statement up with Scripture?

We read the Bible here. We do not use our "senses:"

                        Deuteronomy 29:19-20:
And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.
                        Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
                        Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

                        Amen.

Look Simon, I really don't like it when people tell me what to do. I am a good Christian, I believe in the eternal Word of the Bible (KJV 1611 only), which was written by God.

We are not interpreting. God's word is God's word. He doesn't change his views to be the 'in-thing'. Pick up the Bible, read it all and then come back.
