I take my orders from Jesus H. Christ, supernatural born US citizen

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
    Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

I can't help you shorten the time between posts. If you don't like 180 seconds between posts, it could be made 600.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

yeah that makes it all better.

I don't necessarily have a problem with a site like this, as long as its kept in mind that we should bash bad ideas that the 21st century church has today. I think I can contribute to some humor around this forum in certain respects, and I hope to be able to educate at the same time.

I don't see that anywhere there. I see a dispute where some of the Pharisees are rebuked by Peter for trying to follow the Torah for salvational purposes.

In Acts 15, Paul tells the rest of the Disciples how to break in a Torah custom to the Gentiles. This pertains to the dietary laws. 19"It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. 20Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. 21For Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath."

In the initial setting, it is stated that in order to make it easy for the set of Gentiles to understand the Torah (these Gentiles were completely ignorant of the Torah), we need to break it into them very slowly and carefully (feeding of milk, not meat, to the baby). If you notice in 21, he actually mentions something relevant to the practice of Moses (it is never mentioned to stray away from the teachings of Moses, rather it is stated that Moses was being preached). Galations 3:21 states - " 21Is Torah, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by Torah."

It's as plain as the nose on your face.

5But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

6And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
7And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
                    8And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
9And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
10Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
11But we believe that through the grace of the LORD Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

Do you not realize that roughly about 10,000 Jews were Messianic during the 1st century (the remnant)? 80-85% of Jews were followers of the Messiah up until around 325 A.D. when Constantine decided to establish his own version of Christianity and turn people against the Jews, persecuting and killing any who would follow their practices. Until 325 A.D., we have a strict Torah following base of Messianics, both Jew and Gentile.

Because a few Jews decided to turn against the Messiah (which was prophecied in Isaiah 53), it does not necessarily follow that all Jews are bad.

Funny you mention Catholicism I've been to Catholic masses, and I have always been a bit freaked out by the iconodualism. I brought my Bible, and for the first 5 minutes had it on top of my lap, and then I noticed the priest was saying nothing in regards to what the Bible stated. I promptly put aside my Bible, and took out my notepad. I took notes on the service to get a better understanding of what they practiced and how they did so. I don't think I would follow Roman Catholicism if that was the only movement available.

Thats what I was saying. The pharisees were trying to say that you had to follow Torah for salvational purposes. Peter says, "No, your salvation is through the grace of your Lord Yeshua"

The Pharisees stated in verse 1 of Acts 15 - 1Some men came down from Judea to Antioch and were teaching the brothers: "Unless you are circumcised, according to the custom taught by Moses, you cannot be saved."

                            WRONG!

Well that's just ducky, 85% of the Joo's hate Jesus. One good man, and what do you do beat him half to death, make him carry a cross all over town where you people tormented him and then you nail Jesus to the very cross that you made him carry. No, Messianic Jews = Jews that believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah

And that was the Roman government that issued that punishment (remember Pilate?)
