    Iceland and The Pagan Temple

    http://www.theguardian.com/world/201...ods-1000-years

Iceland to build first temple to Norse gods since Viking age
A modern version of Norse paganism has been gaining popularity in recent years as followers see the stories as metaphors for life not worship of the gods.[1]

Icelanders will soon be able to publicly worship at a shrine to Thor, Odin and Frigg[2] with construction starting this month on the island’s first major temple to the Norse gods since the Viking age.

“I don’t believe anyone believes in a one-eyed man who is riding about on a horse with eight feet,” said Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson, high priest[3] of Ásatrúarfélagið[4], an association that promotes faith in the Norse gods.

“We see the stories as poetic metaphors and a manifestation of the forces of nature and human psychology[5].”

Membership in Ásatrúarfélagið has tripled in Iceland in the last decade to 2,400 members last year, out of a total population of 330,000, data from Statistics Iceland showed[6].

Iceland’s neo-pagans still celebrate the ancient sacrificial ritual of Blot[7] with music, reading, eating and drinking, but nowadays leave out the slaughter of animals[8].
[1] This is perhaps the first religion that has moved from revelation to lieberal salad-bar pagan in one move.
[2] The goddess of fertility, hence “WTF are your frigging about at?” or “Anyone for a quick frig?”
[3] This man is the high priest and even he doesn’t believe in the central tenets and miracles – what sort of idiot is he?
[4] Ásatrúarfélagið (Pronounced “Arse through arse felatio”)
[5] This is quite pointless: everyone will have their own version and war will break out. Iceland will be even more of a frozen wilderness in 10 years
[6] This is the equivalent of 2,400,000 members in the USA
[7]Anything that falls out of a cooter in a menstrual shack.
[8]Whereas Christians do not do ‘sacrifice’ as Jesus has done that for us, these Norse gods must be mightily disappointed and not show any favors to the so-called ‘followers.’

Re: Iceland and The Pagan Temple

These false gods and the false religions they spawn need to stop. Here you have a group of humans being suckered into a cult of nothing.

They could, and should, be making right with Jesus to secure their salvation. What a waste.

They want to worship who? Thor? I'm on the floor laughing.

I'm sure the Iclandic tourist agency got together and proclaimed: "Why don't we have a Thor temple!?!?! This would be fantastic for tourism."
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

The one on the far left (labeled Witch) reminds me of someone, but I can't quite place her. It will no doubt come to me, with prayer.

So in other words the island of Iceland has openly embraced satan in a way not seen in thousands of years.

These are the End Times, brethren. Make no mistake. Pray hard and Tithe harder.
