Re: At what age do kids become goths?

If the meaning of a word is so elastic, then the word has lost all meaning.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Haha I am a goth and I am not chubby or pasty. Yeah I stand out a little because of my crimson hair, makeup and the way I generally look but I am pretty. Not the best but I am not the worst at all. My gothic mind is basically taking an interest in the darker side of life, death. Death is such an interest to me.

I'm not insecure, more humble if anything.

You're mistaken. Humility is a relationship to the LORD as defined by one's relationship with the LORD's friends:

With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love
            Ephesians 4:2

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility:
for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
            1 Peter 5:5

You aren't low and meek before the Pastors here, you have refused to submit yourself to anyone. That's why God resists you and keeps you fat and lonely.

You can see what humility looks like by watching True Christians:

Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
            Colossians 2:23

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering
            Colossians 3:12

Why do you suspect that I am fat? If anything I am slightly underweight. Why should I appear meek and low to anybody when I am neither of those.

Because you spend too much time on the computer arguing with people you don't know. You're probably eating right now.

I haven't eaten all day. I rarely eat, I never really get hungry. Also I haven't got a computer, I'm using my IPad and my phone and I have been messaging while I've been out with my friends, they were curious about what I was writing in fact, they said some offensive things though which I believe shouldn't be repeated.

                    Scottish teenagers said something offensive?

I'm not Scottish. I live in the north west of Britain and they were stoned when they said this stuff, I can't blame them.

My mom always says it's important to eat 3 meals a day. My mom is huge though, so I eat 2 meals per day to stay safe.

Umm that's lovely for you. I don't eat normally. And all my friends are goths, clearly from what I've heard, not someone a Christian what's to meet.

Could you do me a favor and ask all your goth friends at what age they became goths and then get back to me with some empirical data?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.
