I'd say there's convincing Biblical evidence to suggest that God does indeed pick some children to be goths before they're born. Perhaps to punish their parents for voting Democrat or freebasing while pregnant.

Yeah this other guy said they got it from having sex as children and he thinks they're goth. Kids aren't goth before they'e born! They grow into it gradually and start in their early teen years.

That's why Gothism is so pernicious. It preys on young children and hides inside them (most likely in neural ganglia) like a virus.

If these kids would only have Jesus in their lives things might be a bit different.

Have any of you actually MET a goth? if you did, you would know that most of us are peace-loving creative people with no wish to hurt anyone(including eating babies as you seem to think we do). On another hand, goth has NO relation to religion. There are goth muslims pagans jews and yes even CHRISTANS!!! Just deal with it.

Actually, many of the apocrypha which did not make it to the Canon were still widely read, and their content actually made it to the Church's tradition (e.g. the life of Mary mother of Jesus). The frowned upon apocrypha were the gnostic ones, and gnosticism was just a manichaeism in disguise.

And what does make you think that Christians were considered to be "major troublemakers" at the time when the New Testament was written?

(Hint: there are very few, very brief, and very late Roman accounts of the life of Jesus, because at the beginning, Christianity was a meaningless sect of a small religion of a small province at the periphery of the Roman empire).
(Another hint: none of the New Testament books were written in Latin).
