It varies from State to State, though you have to match the right criteria to get in.

ie.

1) Be overly obese and have no friends

2) Be a fag / attracted to the opposite sex (and animals)

3) Dress in drag and have bad personal hygene

4) Be a pathetic loser with a low IQ

and the most important

5) Have an unhealthy desire to shoot all your classmates / sacrifice a virgin

In most cases it all depends when one is introduced to the Goth subculture. I became Goth when I was 15 but only started to go out when I was about 18 in the scene itself. I already saw some very young Goths of 12 or 13 years old but in most countries they have restrictions in going out. Most become Goth in their teenage years but there are exceptions of course.

At what age did you start breathing through old gas masks to induce hypoxia? When did the resulting brain damage show up as a reduced I.Q. levels?

I don't normally judge a book by it's cover, but you look like the mugshot of someone who has just saved all his classmates. I knew plenty of goths in high school, though I wasn't entirely goth myself, I leaned more towards punk and especially metal, but you wouldn't understand that because you wouldn't know the difference between the three. Anyhow, none of the goths I knew were nice, polite people, and most of us sacrificed a virgin or an animal or went on a shooting rampage(the Columbine shooters WERE GOTHS), most of us got crappy grades, most of us were gay, all of us had bad hygeine, and only one of us wasn't obese.

So I guess you're right again.
