Everyone has to be "saved" before they are allowed to get into heaven?

Let's say, for example, a man is an atheist his whole life. Never believed in a god, never followed a faith. He was not a bad person. He lived a normal life. Hell, for the sake of my story, let's say he saved someone else's life.

Is the man denied access to heaven?

No one can say that their religion is absolutly true. Your might be. Or Buddism might be. Or Hinduism might be. Or Catholicism might be. Or Islam might be. Or Satanism might be. Or Scientology might be. Or Jainism might be. Or, there might be no true religion.

Personally, I'm an atheist, simply because I don't know, and I'm not going to even pretend I know for sure.

Fine, say I'm going to hell for what I'm saying. Tell me that my beliefs are going to cause me to burn in hell for all eternity. Tell me that god hates me just because I'm not "saved", or because my beliefs are different.

One last note: gays are not evil as you claim them to be. I'm not gay, but frankly, I have no problem with them. Homosexuality is not some choice that people make, it is who they are. I have friends that are gay, but I look at them no differently than I look at my straight friends.

You people talk all about how you believe Islam is a hate filled religion (I can tell from your emoticon seection panel that has one of 3 terrorists with Arabic writing above their heads being hit with a bomb), but yet you walk around with signs that say "God Hates Fags". That is hate. That is nothing but pure hipocrisy.

You people even go to soldier's funerals and parade around with those signs and say "god killed your son/daughter because there are too many gays in this world". It sure is a good thing we have the Freedom Riders to ride around to those funerals and beat the living hell out of your ignorant asses.

Going to heaven isn't as simple as accepting Christ and getting a ticket. A person can become backslid and fall out of God's good graces. But Christianity is about atonement, knowing what you have done is wrong and asking for forgiveness. If you feel guilty about what you did and ask for God to forgive you, he will. Otherwise, you'll just go to Hell.

I'll jump in. If a person is 'saved', they are sinless. In no other way can they gain the Kingdom of Heaven. The nicest atheist in the world will burn for eternity. Please get it out of your mind that the SAVED® True Christians™ cannot judge. We can. We are the soul triage for JESUS. We are ordered to judge pending the imminent arrival of JESUS.

Then the answer to your question is yes, the atheist will go to hell because of his lack of faith.

Your second bit of question is a bit tricky. Some people who study the bible seem to think that if you sin, but feel bad about it when you're saved, that you're fine. I disagree. I think that if you sin, feel bad about it, and don't do the act again, then you're still saved.

If a Chirstian drinks to excess and runs over a person, then feels bad about it, then starts drinking again. That person hasn't done anything and will go to hell.

If a Chirstian drinks to excess and runs over a person, then quits drinking, then that person has attoned for what he's done and is forgiven.

It will be a great experience. And when you die and nothing happens (ie. no heaven nor hell) I will lol.

Or the knowledge that you could have avoided all this simply by obeying Jesus in all things forever, and being instead with us in Heaven, serving His every whim?
