Dangerous cult: the mental health industry.
Crazy people. True Christians know them as those who are not blessed by the Lord, and have fallen prey to demons due to their lack of faith in Jesus Christ. Their souls have been tainted and their minds have darkened to the point where the Light of the Savior cannot penetrate them.
Science is, once again, fooling the masses by putting forth research and findings that "mental illness" has a biological cause rather than a spiritual one. We hear phrases like "chemical imbalance" and "brain abnormalities", and all of the sudden people are taking the easy way out by dumping pill after pill down their throats to cure their malady. Instead of looking to the Almighty for help and relief, they go straight to the medicine cabinet. I wonder how and why these people sidestep God, when He is the one who created their minds, bodies, and souls. Wouldn't the obvious first step be to turn to God for help? His Son, after all, has the ability to cure mental defectives, and we just have to read the book of Matthew to see the proof.
Matthew 4:23-24
23And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
24And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.
Isn't it obvious that the mental health industry, with its doctors, therapists, and medications, is preaching the healing power of the Lord as their own invention and turning a profit from it, thereby making them a cult? The money that is being spent on psychiatric drugs is less money that is being tithed. So not only are people following a dangerous false religion that usurps the power of the LORD, they are shortchanging their churches.
Instead of taking all of those pills and seeing all of those doctors, please hit the Paypal button once a month and pray to Jesus daily. You will be giving the Lord his "copayment" and the praying will "refill" your mind, body, and soul with the light of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
