Darwinism and Atheism are actually mutually exclusive. You think a Darwinist by definition is an Atheist. Not so. Darwinism is the belief that evolution happens only by natural selection. There's nothing to prohibit anyone believing in God and being a Darwinist at the same time. If the Deists of the Enlightenment were around today, they would probably hold just that view.
