I have read through quite a few of these threads and there is a few things I do not understand properly. I have study theology quite a bit, not just Western religions but Eastern one's too. I believe in God, I believe in Him sending a Son down to help illuminate Humanity (Not Jesus being God in a literal sense) multipul times.....A little nudge so to speak when things seem awry.

I do not claim to understand everything, but I do understand psychology. He that is I am did not write the Bible, Humans wrote the Bible and as humans are wont to do, they will have twisted it to thier own ends, for thier own objectives and thats ontop of simple translation errors and spelling failures

Does your Church really feel this amount of hatred for Non believers. I am quite scared by what you are saying and doing. Jesus was all about love, compassion and leeding by example was he not?
How does this fit with Jesus' teaching on Mercy. I think judgment is reseved for one being and one being alone. What do you say to He that Is I am when questioned about intolerance and bigotry?

I thought this might be a worthwhile exercise for all of the nay-sayers out there; the God-mockers who regularly infest our Christian forum. The Darwinistas have their "Dawkins scale" out there to demonstrate just how deeply they hate Jesus. Well Landover Baptist will not be outdone! This is your chance to prove to the world that America is a Christian country.

It goes without saying that every True Christian™ loves Jesus with all their heart and soul. I would invite them to describe in detail the manifestations of that love.

You can't prove that the Bible is wrong.

Religion is just a cover-up to ease people into thinking there is something out there in the darkness that will save them, that life goes on after death. That believing in a god will let them live more days in ease, without thinking of the terrible truth of when we return to the darkness. All things die. I do believe in souls, and they are reincarnated in another cycle of life. Just like all things on earth. Like the rain that falls, precipitates, and evaporates and falls again to the earth. As an animal born of the earth eats another and its remains passes through, and is once again returned to the earth to start over again. Like the moon in the sky in a constant cycle of full, gibbous, half, quarter and crescent and new moons. We will return to the earth or other earth like places as a new life to start the cycle again.
