The worst part is, most of these people (both the ones that officially come out of the closet as atheists and those who come here saying they are Christian) have never ever actually read the Bible!

How can a homosexual be a Christian? God says they should be killed. If you don't agree with God, unless I suppose you worship Quaoar or something, how can you call yourself a Christian? Why would you want to call yourself a Christian? This is really preschool level obvious. Could any more blatant rejection of God's Word even be conceived? Like maybe you wanna marry that cute Lhasa Apso but that's just equally blatant and I know some people think they're monopods and want to have a leg amputated which would be just as irreversible. Why would any of these freaks A) care what the Church thought since obviously they don't care what God thinks and B) want to join one?

I went to a christian primary school/ elementary school and was told that "God is real! You will go to hell if you sin! Gays should not marry!" But do you know why I didn't believe them? I had a different interpretation to the tiny amount of parts of the bible they had shown us.

In how many ways can the following statement be interpreted, dear?

Leviticus 20:13 - If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.

They told me to treat everyone as I would want to be treated, and that if I did so, I would be rewarded for my kindness, however, they also told me that being gay is sinful, so I was scared that I would turn out gay, and that I would go to hell. But my parents were kind, and so said to me "We are atheists, but you can believe whatever you want to believe."

Wait, what? Why did your atheist parents send you to a Christian school?

I still use some things that I learnt from the Bible, but I do not believe that anything that happened in the Bible actually happened.

Wait, what? So you think that the Holy Bible is a collection of fairy tales and at the same time you think it is true enough to be followed? And you don't see a contradiction there, at all?

Also, why the heck are you criticizing us for following what we have learned in the Bible?! Hypocrisy much?

We do not consider ourselves above anyone. God does.
It is not my fault if God wrote what he did. He hates some people, and loves other.
We are humble, and we can fall in disgrace if we do not follow the Bible 100%. Does that mean acting like jerks most of the time? From a secular point of view, it does.

No, "True Christians™" Are not above anyone, we are all on the same level, "True Christians™" Are worthy of the same amount of respect as anyone else, other than rape apologists, homophobes, transphobes and racists, who, in my eyes, deserve a lot less respect. I'm sorry, but I do not hate Christians, I hate the more extreme ones that seem most prominent on this site. I am not here to convert anyone to atheism, just to share my thoughts.

But, for the record, I said nothing of the kind. I said respect has to be earned. I don't expect it from you, obviously. This is a good thing, as you have shown me absolutely none.

So you have some respect for the bigots who come here to this privately-owned Christian website, interfering with our discussions and pushing their own agenda of sin? I don't.

I wasn't referring to the Atheists, although there are some that go too far. I was talking about the Christians on here who say that gays aren't "True Christians™" and say that they aren't racist, but then call a black person "a sufferer of melanin overproduction".Also, I have little respect for them, but as I said, I have some respect for EVERYONE.


Atheism is a lack of religion, so stopping being religious is still a CHANGE of religion.


I was not having a "Temper Tantrum" I was using "How DARE you" to create an effect, I am not trying to insult anybody by posting these replies, I just want to ensure that my meaning is clear.
