Hi, my name is Dylan and it seems you folks are very set in your ways. That's great. You know what you believe and you stick to it. However, there are a few opinions I don't quite agree with and some of what you say hurts my heart. Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean it is evil. I joined this site to meet new people and hopefully open a few eyes. I would like to start out by saying that even though I am an atheist I keep an open mind. Not to mention I was raised and lived in a christian household. I went through confirmation and learned a lot. I try to find something I like in every religion. Something I agree with at least. Just because we don't share the same beliefs doesn't mean I'm a soulless monster. Everyone, inherently, has a moral compass. I know right from wrong. I will always try to be nice to everyone I meet unless they give me reason to be otherwise. I would love to answer any questions you throw my way. Any conflicting notions you have about atheists or maybe other religions. I experienced different worship services while going through Confirmation and I will be happy to talk with anyone. I'm sorry if I sound like a therapist I just don't want to seem rude and pushy. I hope you will give me a chance. I have been pleasantly surprised when I've asked people of other faith questions.

Okay! Okay! I'm sorry! I'm leaving. But before I go I want to ask you why did you bring up MY rectum. You wanna fuck me or something? Why would you bring up something like that? Honestly ask yourself that. And second, you guys are far from being Christian like. In my opinion you are worst than Westboro. God didn't tell you to go around calling people names like 'nancy boy'. You're bullies and you will never change and I hope one day just ONE of you realizes how rude you are being. You should be trying to bring people into your faith not drive them away. I came here to be enlightened not mocked and made fun of. You're very rude. I am not scum and you cannot live in your diluted little world forever. Something's gotta give. first off, catholics do not worship marry, AGAIN, WE DO NOT WORSHIP MARRY! we simply respect her and thank her for being the hand maiden of god. she is jesus's mother, we ask her to pray with us for help. we dont pray to her. second. we do not worship satan, in fact when we renew our baptism vows, we clear state that we renounce satan, and all his evil. does that sound like worship? no! sounds a whole lot like we are hmmmmm, renouncing satan. we do not worship anyone except God, we don't worship saints, we ask them to pray with us, or for us. we don't pray to them. its a lot like asking your friends to pray with you. you go hey, im having a really togh time, will you pray with me." only its, "saint francis, my dog is really sick, will you pray with me for him" (hes the saint of animals) not worshiping him, just praying with him.

Friend, you seem a bit upset by all this information. I hate to add to the pile because I know it can be hard to face that which we try desperately to deny, but you really should know, for the sake of your immortal soul, what the Truth is. Here's proof that the character you know as Mary is naught but a compilation of many pagan goddesses. You don't use words like "worship" in your masses, but the essence is just the same. Indeed, your own church calls her "co-redediatrix," that is on par with Christ. She is, in all practicality, a goddess.

He'll probably offer up John 14:3, "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." which, although it doesn't mention Mary at all (in fact, there's not a peep about her in the whole chapter), was offered as PROOF of the Assumption by the Pope in (get a load of this) 1950!!

It only took their "infallible" geniuses a little over 1,900 YEARS after the (alleged) incidents took place to realize that, "Hey, these simpletons have bought every line of crap we've sold them since day 1, if we add this to the pile no one's gonna notice, right? And we can milk them for even more cash, because more 'saints' and obligatory holidays (never mind the lack of Biblical justification, we can just say it's 'tradition', which we conveniently elevated to equivalence with Scripture when we had to explain another one of our seeming heresies) mean more people paying cover charge offerings in the plate, trinkets sold to the suckers faithful, etc., golden thrones all around, boys".
