Actually, Baptist does not rhyme with "rapist". Let us look at the pronunciations:

• Baptist - IPA: /bapˈtɪst/
• Rapist - IPA: /ɹˈe͡ɪpɪst/

As you can now see, the vowels are totally different, and in the middle of the word "Baptist" has "pt" while "rapist" has only a "p". The differences in the phonetic values of the vowels are caused by, e.g., the great vowel shift that occurred just around the time of King James and is one of the things that finally evolved peasant English into the civilized and Godly American tongue. If you look at some of the most expressive and elegant phrases of the American language, you'll know what I mean, such as the timeless "You're fired!".

Whether that's a made up "god" such as Neptune or Tekkeitsertok I don't know but what's certain is that those who reject The Truth will be damned by actual. God as He has explained for us in The Bible.

There is no other source presenting God's Perfect Love or describing how the Plan For Salvation has been revealed through history and fulfilled in Jesus Christ. There are. plenty of false doctrines but obviously they do not contain any truth so accepting them is the same as rejecting God. That's how we know that false religions and cults exist. Most people will not make it to Heaven.

The reason why we're here is for God to implement His Plan. If everyone went to Heaven for no particular reason why would God have chosen some but rejected others? We can be certain of this because those who reject The Truth and take pleasure in unrighteousness are damned. God explains it this way:

II Thessalonians 2:12-14 They all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen.you.to.salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The sin of being deceived resulted in every baby ever born deserving torture. Not torture LIGHT as may be expected over in Syria or at the hands of the gestapo but proper torture with no remission and no end in sight. Ever. Anguish, pain, grief and despair from day one with day two infinitely worse and every day ever worse forever. God chose some to be Redeemed.

If that applied to everyone, what would be the point of the earth?

The thing is that if she was so easily persuaded by a knock on the door from Russellite heretics, popularly known as JW's, and whether or not she booked in for the 5-evenings-a-week brainwashing what will happen if the hip-hoppers turn up recommending she dub some psalms or thrash Deuteronomy? Or for all I know the Upanishads or ravings of Confucius?

The next time you see her she could be anything! That's why prayer is so important. But unless you're a Christian, those prayers are useless The Bible explains. Jesus does not love us "just the way we are" because God is Jesus and He finds us revolting in our fallen condition. That's why it's necessary to torture us forever UNLESS we accept the price He paid to set us free from sin.

Not attending any Church contradicts what God has told us to do:

False religions teach all sorts of rubbish, play "Christian rock music" (obviously there's no such thing) or even celebrate demonic festivals in the guise of cultural enrichment. Cults are narrower, the JW's being a good example, and yet even from inside so stifling a congregation people have been rescued.

Perhaps you missed the third page of the tract I posted? One thing you could do is listen for changes in her vocal intonation. As a rule of thumb, musically, the melodic range represents how far beyond yourself (meaning the limit of your skin) your song expresses. A semitone range describes somatic perceptions. Beyond the minor 2nd other degrees of consciousness may be represented up to the 5th chord (as guitarists would define it) where from the skin one bursts forth into the world of "other" as described in Theory Of Mind literature which you can look up very easily.

Higher notes in a ditty reflect broader amazement at the world we live in with soaring octaves and glorious choirs of angels but I doubt from what you've shared that your mother's voice is angelic or very far beyond monotonous at all. She sounds pretty stupid. But if she isn't, then this may be a temporary thing. She may have joined the JWs just to get herself disfellowshipped, after which she will be shunned by them and they will never knock on her door or speak to her again. I'm told it's the only reliable way for people who live sad, ordinary lives in houses without proper security to get rid of them.

She never was one years ago she was an evangelical like me she decided to become one yesterday after she met a lady who knocked on her door I forgot the ladies name however. She's even started about talking about how her wanting me to join but I said no and she said that she would respect my decision but would pray that I would change my mind and I'm seeing her next year again. What do I do?

Actually I just remembered I'm seeing a few friends not her because I won't have time to go see her as I'll be doing stuff but she will still try and convince me sometime down the line. I hope she gets out of the cult. I'm really upset
