5 - Theologian? The studdy is about faith, it can be about any faith, not just christianity. And you dont just learn about the bible, they teach you about the relations between the different beliefs and also have you read important books next to the bible that are about christianity as well. But I am, as most theologians, a CHRISTIAN theologian.

We study the Bible at LBC, because that's what Christianity is all about.
We do read theological works yes, but we know that the Bible is the final authority and anything that contradicts it is wrong.
Thus such works are of little importance compared to the Holy Bible, and thus they are not required to understand Christianity.
There is no book besides that Bible that is of any true importance in comparison, as all theological works must be based on it to be valid.
Otherwise, it's just the writer's own ideas..

Yes, killing witches is murder, but we are not the murderers. It says in The Bible "the blood is on their own heads", the witches kill themselves by sinning against God.

The Hebrew word used in the Ten Commandments means "murder", not "kill". There is a difference between killing someone for a crime or in war, and committing murder.

We can take a more straightforward approach:

God told His people how to treat each other and how to relate to Him in the Ten Commandments. Witches are not His people.

You have given Satan a title of respect and authority. You thereby place yourself beneath Satan. You make yourself Satan's subject.

Satan does not merit respect, as he hates God and tries to destroy all of God's creation.

The KJV 1611 WAS written by mortals as God used them as pens. And you're correct, the ten commandments are the direct word of God, He even carved them in stone whereas He "merely" dictated the holy Bible.

It depends on where you study. In Christian countries, Christian faith and the Christian concept of God is the main part of the study. In catholic countries there are special subjects about the catholic church. Bible is the basis of the study, there are many different subjects about it. Of course, also other books are used but they are all about Christianity, which is itself based on the Holy Bible. Some satanic new-age theologians even recommend the Koran( ) and other sinister books, but they are, I hope, a minority.

Start thinking about these commandments yourself, maybe its time to delete the witch-hunt part of the forum, because that breaks 3 of the commandments on its own.
