Heh-heh, I used to use the same technique with Wiccans. I'd tell 'em to whomp up a big "magickal" curse to turn my toes black and slimy, and of course they couldn't do it.

The Living God is something else again. He does the wrath-invoking; you can't call down a miracle. Lots of people make that mistake. Just look at the Pentacostals -- always doing faith healing and handling snakes and talking in tongues, and getting all worked up to a psychotic frenzy.

Smart? I doubt I'd refer to anyone who can't tell the difference between "the Word of God" and "ALL of the Word of God" as "smart".

Some of these churches are welcoming bastards, and goths, and wiccans, and homersexuals, and people who have divorced and remarried, and people wearing mixed-fabric clothing, and any number of other abominations within their walls! They do not follow ALL of the Word of God!

this is an actual bible verse. and it does say that if you confess your sins with a true heart and soul and discontinue the act then you will be forgiven. i believe this to be very true. it's God who punishes and judges, NOT us. it is our job to help and to preach when GOD CALLS ON US. if the sinner does not accept it is not our job to act in hate against them, but to love them. for if we are to act more like God(he has already proved many times that he loves ALL men, not the act of men) then we should Love them. AND not kill them with our thoughts and words, for that is a reflection of GOD, we are made in HIS image. If God does not judge a man til he's dead then why should we. not saying we shouldn't help, but help through the fruits of the spirit.
