That's the self-trap of agnostics; their wisdom sounds good in their own ears, trying to ponder this "important" decision in a "mature" manner. But of course that's the wrong approach as stated in Matthew 18:

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Should this surprise us? Not at all. God knows the nature of men. He even warns us in 1 Corinthians 3:

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your's;

The Agnostic tires to be "wise" and invoke a Schrödinger's superimposed cat paradox in lieu of committing himself, not realizing that his "uncommitting" is all too foolishly committal. Jesus makes it very clear that there is no middle ground, no half-dead cat, in Matthew 12:

30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

The only "paradox" is that in trying to be wise, an Agnostic merely makes a fool of himself.

These are the scum we need to deal with. Everyone who think they can be "diplomatic" about not stating their faith or can't make up their minds are the real trouble makers. My deeply held religious beliefs demand I persecute and harass unbelievers without mercy as a matter of faith. By trying to hide behind this label "agnosticism" agnostics are deliberately not letting us Christians practice our religion.

It seems we have not talked about agnostics lately.

Basically an Agnostic says "I don't know or care if religion is true, I'm neutral, I'll await proof of which religion is true, if any."

So that means agnostics are saying "I don't know if highjacking a plane and flying it into a skyscraper sends you to a paradise filled with virgins."

They're saying "I'm neutral about the Cathaginian belief that murdering children on altars is how you keep the rain falling."

They're saying "I can't disprove the Thuggee belief that strangling random people by the roadside keeps the world in balance. I don't know or care if it's right or wrong.

Agnostics are nothing but spineless cowards who are trying to escape responsibility for their inactivity in the face of evil.

Any agnostics here that have enough spine to disagree with me?

I admire your conviction, but Agnostics would suggest that you are so strong in your faith and your support system, that you're fortunate to be able to practice your faith no matter what their degree of indecision, confusion, or even making of excuses. After all, there are lots and lots of unbelievers (prison populations, "shock jocks", or most politicians, for example! ) around to merrily harass, whether the Agnostics bare their backs for a good lashing or not, aren't there?

You miss the context of Luke 9:49. The one casting devils was doing so In Jesus' name. This is in contrast to accusations of the Pharisees in Matthew 12:24-25

24But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
25And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

and in parallel with Mark 9:

38And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
39But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
40For he that is not against us is on our part.
41For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

There is nothing "agnostic" about that, about two groups of men casting out demons and doing good works in the name of Jesus.

Of course! They can assert anything they wish. They can assert there is no God, maybe is a God, a different type of God, many gods, etc. But them say it is so does not make it so. Especially when it is opposition to the Word of God. I Corinthians 2:14

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Is it a surprise that they get it wrong? Obviously not. For agnostics, they don't even know what they don't know.

Revelations:3:15-16

There can be no "neutral" in the war between good (Christian, Republican Baptists) and evil (secularist liberals). By being "neutral" you are saying what is good is not crystal clear as "good" and somehow the good maybe wrong. An attack like that is far more insidious that a whole country full of communist monkey worshiping Islamic-fascists like France.

At lest the French don't pretend to be God's friends.

Bonsoir, Pastor. You seem to be tense -- I assume you work very hard. Have you ever had a full-body deep tissue massage? The scalp-rub part, and the shoulder and neck parts are particularly therapeutic. Some people swear by the foot rub part, but I always find it tickles too much.

And you might make sure that the new vehicle has cushy seats with lots of lumbar support, I hope?

If people can worship in the way that feels most natural to them, they're more likely to do it often and sincerely. Does the Bible endorse any other kind of reverence?

Are you a masseuse? I myself have endured years of stress: having to spend 15 years of my life in a federal prison, worrying about the IRS, marital issues, fretting over the decline of America, my ulcers, my hemmorhoids, etc. I could really use a skilled young woman, well-trained in the art of massage to put me in a relaxed state. Lord Jesus knows how I desperately need it.
