    Re: The Holy Noodle

Pastors and Jesus forgive me for posting medical advice on God's favorite forum, but the entire evil of the FSM is both spiritual and physical.

Triglycerides are a type of fat made in the liver that circulate in the blood with other fats such as cholesterol. High triglyceride levels are a risk factor for some diseases, including heart disease.

Your "white" pasta, that is pasta made from flour, is higher in triglycerides than whole wheat pasta.
I don't think the FSM is a whole wheat pagan deity.

And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick

I think it's awful how people claim our existence to be created by some bible God when it should be obvious and without dispute that the Flying Spaghetti Monster created all things, it says so right in His Holy book.

That has got to be the most ridiculous argument I've ever heard!

You're going to abandon God and believe in some bizarre, all-powerful pile of pasta because a BOOK, written by ONE MAN, tells you to?

I'd heard that American youth were getting dumber and dumber, but I didn't believe it until now.
              Bible boring? Nonsense!

How is that any different from what you believe? There have been many inspired writings I've seen regarding the FSM from many different people. Just because you read a book randomly put together by a few priests a couple hundred years ago doesn't make it true. I can't see how the Flying Spaghetti Monster is any less valid than your beliefs, and in terms of morality and life lessons, I'd say Pastafarianism wins out hands down.

LOL, my thoughts exactly Rev. Rod! What's more, is the creator of the Flying Spaghetti Cult is nothing more than an opportunistic liar who created a religion to make money (just like L. Ron Hubbard). It's a well-known fact that he created the cult to push a new, false pasta-creation theory in Kansas schools and also to make money off his book "Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster".

Nothing's worse than a "religion" just out there to bring in the cash.

How about a book written by God, who directed the hands of several dozen "authors", over the course of a couple of thousand years?

The most recently-written books of the Bible are roughly 2,000 years old, not "a couple hundred years".

Further proof of the ignorance of American youth.

Since he said "priests", I think he's talking about the Catholic version. Which in his case, he's actually right because it doesn't make it true just because a bunch of lying papists came together to mutilated the Bible.

Jo, you might want to sit down before you read what I have to say... I'm afraid it's bad news lad!

                        I ate your god.
Now, before you fall on your knees and start worshiping me, I should also tell you that he did give me a message to give to you.
He said : "Slurp sluuuuurp uuurp burp", roughly translated to - Tell Jo to go back on his med's and stop his BS, he is making me look bad.
Psalm 1:5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgement, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

What you know as the AV1611 King James Bible did not exist thousands of years ago, it is just a conglomeration of stories passed down between multiple authors over a few millennium, the point I was trying to make is that there is nothing saying any of the stories in that book are any more correct than the words of the FSM bible. And just in case the more obvious point has been missed, I don't think anyone actually 'believes' in the Flying Spaghetti Monster, it is a very clever way of pointing out that the only differences between this religion and any other are the words and rules, but if your religion cannot be proven false than neither can that of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, both of them must be treated as equally valid. Logical thinking should not be considered an enemy, no matter how strong one's faith.

We, as True Christians(tm) recognize the Bible is the product of many authors over millenia, but we recognize it as the Word of God(c) because it is inerrant and clearly inspired by God. You're making an invalid comparison because the Spaghetti cult was invented by one guy who wrote the Bible himself. We know that for a fact.

I also find it interesting that I've somehow shaken your faith. You came in here believing whole-heartedly that a plate of pasta created the world, but now you concede that you and your fellow cult members "don't really believe". This is good. You are on the road of shedding that brainwashing once and for all and accepting Jesus Christ as the one true Savior.

Would that mean that any book written by one guy is inherently inaccurate? And the only reason for you knowing the bible is true is because it 'inerrant and clearly inspired by God' I'm guessing there are no facts to back that up, really I could say that about anything, the bible of the Flying Spaghetti Monster for instance. According to your reasoning, it would seem I have no choice but to officially convert, I know must recognize the Flying Spaghetti Monsters words because the book is inerrant and clearly inspired by God. Also, I'm fairly certain that my cook book by Giada, Everyday Italian is also inerrant and clearly inspired by God, that makes multiple authors all delivering the same message.
