Unlucky you singled me out for being offensive when I said that atheists whom attack Christians on this board are ignorant. You said you "weren't ignorant" so I said why are you here? So you say all you are doing is saying not all atheists are pompous. A CLEAR CHANGE from what you originally called me out for.

Now I am offended. I would like an explanation or an apology.

to brother mcgregor, I am actually very happy to read what you put in your last post. One of my main qualms with christianity is that most christians seem to fear punishment more than they should. It appears to be their only motivation, escaping hell instead of earning God's love. And I'm aslo sorry about my typing... I speak much more eloquently than I type, so I'll try to tone it down (I was never any good at writting).

And to Unfalsifiable, Im sorry if you felt singled out since there were more people attacking me, but I never take well to being called ignorant. If someone called me ignorant in more words and I didnt catch it, I'm sorry. I just dont like being called ignorant.

Unlucky, I was claiming the atheist attacker of the Christian on these forums was ignorant, not the atheist apologist (apologist means defender), as you NOW claim to be (by claiming to take offence to the "ignorant" comment, you were automatically assigning yourself to the role of an atheist attacker, because that is who i was addressing, no one else). Therefore what you NOW claim to be is not what I was referring to as ignorant. Understand? That is why you are being unfair, and rude, to me.

egotistical jerks. Some of us are rather nice people who have simply chosen an alternative lifestyle.

Honestly, I was just stunned at the hostility. Is that how you treat all guests here? I was just having a conversation with some of the members of this site, and I even aplologized for something I had just done that was incorrect. I simply wasn't expecting that... that seemed extremely unnecessary as the tension was just starting to simmer down. I mean seriously, why would you attack me like that? that seem's like a poor tactic for attracting new members.

Bobby-Joe, I do indeed realize that the communist party was athiest, but they were also corrupt, evil men. being athiest had little to do with thier parinoia, and I hate them just as much as you do.

I also find it difficult to believe that a random occurance of mutations resulted in cells turning to bacteria, to fish, to lizards, to mammals. If this were the case, wouldnt we continue to evolve? If evolution is true, why did it suddenly stop?

And I thought people were saved through being nice... isnt that one of god's teachings? To be kind to one another?

all that is required unlucky is believe. People in all religions martyr themselves in belief...whether we believe in their "god" or not. Belief is like remembering the house keys...if you have them or it...you are not locked out.

Google the Shroud of Turin...the burial cloth of Christ...an image on it bears the likeness of a man and as far as I know it hasn't been repudiated yet.

I am way out here on a limb by bringing non examples of Baptist doctrine but if it gets you to examine the miracles of God then it might get you looking for answers and you will be an atheist no more.

Just remember that it is God's works not Catholic works...and God is a Baptist

Didn't you claim to be an atheist? Atheist means "anti-god". By definition atheists hate God. You come in here preaching hate don't be shocked that we return your' hostility.
