And even if you actually did it for real (Which you don't, you can't lie to the Spirit!) not speaking in tongues does not make one unsaved:

It is unfortunate that this view still persists and we often have a hard time correcting it. Misinformed people and those not incapable of sophistication and nuance usually express it. We long ago abandoned any hope of reconciliation with Southern Baptists, or for that matter, any other Baptist congregation. Do you mean people born in Africa who are now US citizens? Almost all the ones I have met are well educated, well met and very, very civilized. European Americans and Asian Americans impress me the same way.
