This coming from a goth is hardly surprizing. I am guessing you, like most goths, vomit around 4-5 times a night? Goths use their own 'vomit' as an important part of their sick perverted lovemaking process. From what we have been told, they often fill used condoms with 'puke', freezing them, and using them as ice-vomit-dildos.

Our tenants of faith have been accepted for the past two thousand years and an integral part of the Western Tradition. Christianity is not something some pulled out of their backsides in the 1950s and then had the audacity to claim it was some resurrected ancient tradition.

Show me one practice of an modern "pagan" that has been documented from the ancient world. Original sources and no fru-fru books.

Neo-paganism is not identical to old-world Paganism. I never said that it is. I said that the basic idea that the earth is alive is an old one. Modern Pagan beliefs stem from that root.

As far as practices, look at so-called Christian holidays. Decorating trees, kissing under mistletoe, exchanging wrapped gifts, candle-lighting, caroling - all those "Christmas" traditions are actually Pagan. We Pagans do them, too - the difference is that we know why.
Same with dyeing eggs, candy chicks/ducks/bunnies, and new clothes at "Easter" - these are all vernal equinox rituals co-opted by Christians.

The taxation was wrong because the colonies were having to pay taxes to England for goods that did not come to them from England, and in some cases, were actually paying the king for goods that they had produced.
