It's on my profile. Du'h. And I have now checked the details, so when did I tell a true Christian lady to b*gger off ? Your description not mine.

I'm sorry but that infraction is making me laugh.

I get an infraction for telling someone to go and play somewhere else if she finds me boring while other get to freely cast aspersions on my character, the country they think I come from and what they think I look like.

As yet no one has addressed the earlier defamation of character by wilful misrepresentation. Lying and calling someone a fascist, racist bigot is okay, telling them to play elsewhere is not. Okay, got that.

Also the language of the infraction notice is questionable. At no point did I tell anyone to b*gger off. In fact all the offensive language that has been use in this thread has been by people other than myself. Sheepsh*gger, for instance, used by the moderator who gave me the infraction.

Mind you what else did I really expect ?

I'll take this natural break to say how sorry I am that I attributed someone else's words to you. Most regrettable; I can only assume it was because you are the sort of person who would say such things.

Now that matter is over with, what brings you here? What wisdom can you impart as far as the Irish are concerned - other, obviously than that they are all catlix?

Oh, right, I'm a drunk. A 20 year old (who still has to wait one more, but I'll pull through) who hasn't even been pulled over by a cop yet. But wait, then again you'd love to see me in jail, right?

          Lovely.

And what pray tell is your assumption that I would say such things based on ?

It seems a strange thing to assume given that I have entirely refuted any connection with such disgusting ideas.

Oh never mind, I'd be unlikely to get a reasoned answer anyway.

Apology accepted as ungraciously as it was given.

What brought me here was a desire to find out what this place was all about. I found a link in the comments section of a BBC article and thought the posters views seemed harsh, and unfair. So I thought I check it out myself.

Good, you have now been disabused of any slight hint that there might be any harshness or unfairness here and I assume you will be posting back to say, in the words of my signature, that we here at Landover bring hope of Salvation to all and although the message is God's Word, not everyone likes it.

So, back to the point - your warning about the Irish... you were about to say,...?

God makes mistakes? Since when? With all due respect sister, God is perfect. He does not make mistakes. He created retards to test us. Though seemingly pointless and disturbing to some, they are not a mistake. The parents of handicapped children, are being tested by God because he sees something that they are doing that bothers him, and wants them to have something to make them put their lives into focus. It's easy to love a normal child, but very hard to love a handicapped child, and it's much more work to raise a handicapped child than a normal child. I think that God gives them to people who need to learn compassion. That you would accuse a perfect being such as our Lord of having flaws, is blasphemy dear sister.

Are you also trying to derail this thread? This is about the insufferable drunken Irish and their cathlicking St. Patrick's Day (which thankfully is behind us by almost three months). Are you trying to assert that the Irish are God's gift to us and that we are to thank Him for bringing some kind of "test" to us?
                    Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

I don't have a warning about the Irish, I was reading the thread. BibleThumpinBlonde's inability to provide anything approaching relevant evidence for her silly little assertion, which lets' face it was based on an stereotype as interpreted by an airhead, gave me cause to join in.

The Irish that I have met are great people. Not very religious though. Unless there's a religion based on being a good and decent person, being educated and thoughtful as well as have a personality and a sense of fun.

I have come to the conclusion that this has to be a joke.

Either than of the world is a lot worse off than I thought. If this is real it's a place where some ill educated, narrow minded bigots spew hatred and bile in to the world from their own sad little corner of nowhere. I can only assume that it comes from an intense dissatisfaction with their petty lives and a desire to make other people as miserable as they are. Pathetic.

Personally my friends, who have been reading along, and I are hoping for the former 'cause it has need quite entertaining. Some of the threads are hysterical. And we would very much like to continue to be entertained.

Can you say that again without snorting coffee through your nose?

So they have been blowing each other up over what, a lovers' spat?

The Irish people I have met have not been blowing each other up. Please note the emphasis. My previous observations were also related to people I have met.

Not everyone in Northern Ireland was actually involved in the terrorist activities. Note the was in that sentence. There's been a ceasefire and decommissioning of weapons. The parliament is back in action. There's a power sharing agreement.

Anyway I thought the thread was about the Irish and St. Patrick's Day. That would mainly be Eire. They haven't been blowing each other up.

                            Another infraction.

This time from BibleThumpinBlonde for calling her an airhead. At least my assertion was based on evidence.

Anyway BTB, I'd be more worried about the fact that you had to defend yourself.

I have to go and do some work now, but feel free to heap on some mean spirited nonsense. I deal with it when I get back.

Yes dear, you clear off and do some cooking and cleaning and other female duties.
Make sure you get the permission of your husband before you come back. Or are there no men in your household (except the trouser wearing Bulldyke who pretends to be one).

You are obviously here merely to persecute the tender warm and Loving Sister Thumper who only has people's best interests at heart.
