Hello there! As a fellow Christian and someone who likes this band I just hand a couple of questions, why do you believe people can't enjoy this band's music and love Jesus? Why are you saying people are damned if they listen to the music? ce. I'm in ALL honors classes and get As in every single one. So I don't believe in God. I do believe, however, in good people like Gerard Way, Pete Wentz, and Kellin Quinn. THEY save people. Not Jesus. Jesus may have been a real person who did good things, but he has been dead for over a thousand years. So "Stop your preaching right there 'cause I really don't care and I'll do it again." Nothing you've offered suggests anything other than the carefully thought out and prayerfully considered conclusion that they are all Satanic nutbags. Just because you can conceive of some explanation between two events doesn't mean that explanation correlates to reality. It's superstitious thinking at best, and it's sloppy reason. You're a young woman, you should learn how to think critically, not just accept what you're told just because you like the way it makes you feel.

The idea that he would come up with a name of his band because the death of his grandmother is further testament to his utter refusal to rely upon the Lord Jesus Christ for all things. A True Christian™ knows that upon death, the soul will come face to face with Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10). At that moment, it is out of our control. No words will change that fact. No prayer can help. We won't find out until later if we shall join the soul of our loved one in Heaven forever, or if we shall join the chorus of those lovingly laughing at them with Christ our Savior (Psalm 2:4). In either case, it's hardly reason to get upset.

You should try reading the Holy Bible instead of the lyrics printed on your record covers. You'll learn a lot more about the world that way, dear.

Okay that song isn't literally about blood. 'Blood' symbolizes everything he has. 'They' are the general society. He's saying that he gives them everything he possibly can, and they still aren't happy. They want more. "Give them all that they can drink and it will never be enough' yeah. He's saying that, when MCR was still together, they did every possible thing they could for the fans and the press, but we are humans, a greedy, selfish species by nature, and we want more. Gee I'd all about the metaphor. When he said that self destruction is romantic, he didn't mean that it was literally something that should happen on a date. He meant it was addicting, almost as if he was in love with it. A 'chemical romance' is a drug addiction, is it not? The title 'My Chemical Romance' was most likely because music was like a drug to him. He wasn't an addict or and alcoholic in 2001 when he formed MCR. That started when his grandma, whom he was very close to, died. It got really hard then, and the music wasn't enough, but he's recovered now. He has been clean for over seven years. MCR has split (res t jn peace, March on, fabulous Killjoys)
And Gee now sings Britpop. He wears fun socks sent by fans to every single concert and makes pancakes every weekend for #WPR on instagram. So yeah. Still think he's a Satanic nutbag???

Well luckily, I am NOT your child, I am the child of a wonderful family. Or really, two. My parents split when I was five, leaving my little sister and I to switch between houses, but also resulting in my two other sisters and my little brother. Nothing is forced upon us except general manners and decency. I get a 3.5+ GPA on every single report card and I have the best friends in the world. WHO ARE NOT EMO. If you saw me, you'd think I was a decent, we'll rounded girl, which I am. I just happen to like a cecertain type of music and my favorite colors are black, red, and purple. I have earrings and a lip ring, no tattoos. My hair is my natural brown and I treat people with respect, as long as they give it to me. Idk about u, but most of society sees me as a normal kid.
