Re: Why Wicca is nonsense
I fear that it is also what Ms. Lumpy says to her when Lumpy turns up on her doorstep demanding to be fed.
No offence, my idiotic friend, but that sounds pretty lame to me. Our God can walk on water. And what exactly would you define as a great work? Going three days in a row without getting high?
So basically, it's like dead people are people with jobs, and living people are like negroes?
How do you measure the effect that these spells have? What if something bad happens to one of your friends or family?
Why?
Yes, the Bible that says that all other faiths are evil and must be destroyed. Either the foundation of our religion is wrong, or your faith is completely false. How do you square that circle, little missy?
What about Islam? That particular path to blissful enlightenment seems to be littered with an awful lot of dead civilians along the way.
Even though the goals of our religion explicitly include killing witches?
Again, what about Islam?
And what if it isn't?
Oh, and when you don't need them, you just throw your idols in the trash?
How do you explain the fact that Islam, Judaism and Catholicism are all recognised as religions?

We believe that our soul is sent to a place called the Summerland to rest. Then we choose to remain a spirit for others to draw power from or to return to Earth.
I pray for the blessing of my friends and family. I cast spells for their protection and it works.

The point is the same as your religion's point. We all must believe something.
You believe in the God of the Bible.
I believe that all gods and religions, in the end, are paths to the same blissful place of enlightenment.

Wicca works with me as I have believed it all my life.
During this life I have been exposed to many religions and my belief in my Lord and Lady has only been strengthened.
Essentially, all religions I have encountered want a world of no harm.

Therefore it really doesn't matter what we believe in as long as it is life affirming.
Despite not being a Christian, I am a very religious woman. I pray to the Lord and Lady when ever I have the need
Wiccans don't hurt people, sacrifice animals, or eat children. That's just preposterous. Wicca would not be recognised as a religion if its adherents did.
