I don't know if you're familiar with the parable of Lazarus (Lk 16:20-31). A man being tormented in hell pleads with Abraham to send Lazarus back from the dead to warn his brothers about hell. Abraham's response was:

Lk 16:31b If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

"Moses and the prophets" means the Old Testament. In other words, if you won't believe that hell exists because the Bible says so, then you definitely won't believe any real evidence, such as someone who has seen hell coming back from the dead to tell you all about it.

So. I have proved that hell exists. How do I know heaven exists? Simple. If heaven didn't exist, Jesus would have told us so!

Jn 14:2 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

No I do not sacrifice anything. I am a modern Wiccan. I do not believe in those deities. I believe that everything comes from the earth and goes back into the earth.

If you people actually did some research besides the Bible you would actually learn. Paganism was around before Christianity. Christianity came from Paganism and then Wicca came from Paganism as well. Wicca and Paganism is actually an Earth based religion where we believe that everything comes from the Earth and goes back into the Earth. So actually learn about the religion first before judging it.

Christianity came from CHRIST... hence the name. Wicca and paganism probably came from the mentally ill.

it actually quite funny that you guys think your all high and mighty and that your religion is descended from John the Baptist but that is not true. Your religion developed during the Lutheran reformation and original started with John Zwingli original followers who later broke away from him over the issue of wither a child should be baptized and that was suitable or the followers of God had to choose to be baptized hence the name of the group was Anabaptists or Baptists to be baptized again. Wicca is not from the mentally ill either it may not be your religion but is mine and all I m asking is for the same respect that you expect. I found this while I was researching for an essay for my college English class and what you claim does not add up with historical facts and considering that my major is anthropology I figured this would be a good warm up for the future. I have gone to church before when I was a little girl, I have two bibles that I have received from my grandmothers there family heirlooms. My grandmother is Baptist, My Grandfather is Pentecostal, my father is catholic as well as my aunt. My mother doesn't go to church but is fairly religious and spiritual. I decided of my own regard to be Wiccan because after 17 years of being abused by a disturbed father and praying to your god who did nothing I changed my religion. I am now quite happy with who I am and that will never change. All the Wiccans ask for is respect, which what you would expect from us, instead putting false things on here about blood sacrifice, eating and kidnapping children and any other ideas such as these please actually do some research. We're not evil, mentally ill, or possessed we just chose a different path then you did. I am not saying to become Wiccan I m saying accept that we do exist and give us the same respect we'll give it to you.
