Hello Landover Baptist Church. I have a neighbor who is Catholic she smells like lavender. She told me that her niece is going to become a nun and I told her that nuns do not go to Heaven. She laughed at me and said where did I get that idea and I said I got it from the Apostle Paul. I went and got my Bible and showed her 1 Timothy 2:15 which says:
Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
She told me that I was misinterpreting the Bible so I read it to her again very slowly and moved my finger under each word as I said it to show her I was not changing anything. I told her that Paul wrote this in a letter to Timothy that had a lot of good advice like drinking a little wine if you have an upset stomach.
Then I remembered a direct command that God told Adam that was at the beginning of the Bible and it says to be fruitful and multiply. Those are His exact words in Genesis 1:28 which says:
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
God says them even though He is only talking to Adam. Eve was not made until the next chapter.
She told me I was ridiculous even though I was speaking normally and I was dressed normally. I told her I am sorry that her niece is going to Hell because she has a pretty voice and she smells like cotton candy.
Thank you.
