I have previously discussed how to defend your faith. Here is an example of how not to defend your faith. This guy calls the Atheist Experience and refutes his own argument.

This caller failed in his Christian duty. We are called to take every thought captive.

1 Cor 10:3-6
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

We are called to spiritual warfare and it is our duty always to be ready to give an answer.

1 Pet 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

I hope we can all learn something from this gentleman's mistake and avoid the trap he fell into. This is why you need to be fully equipped, brothers and sisters. Anyone else got any other examples to serve as a warning?

You are right that this video shows what NOT to do
and yet your faith needn't be harmed

Christians mix up facts and tales, they don't get their definitions right. Before any christian can be shown where the bible is wrong, they'd first have to learn the English language (or any other one).

Trying to prove facts with facts is circular reasoning, a logical fallacy. I thought we'd been over this before.

The story of the Tower of Babel (Gen 11) tells us God invented all languages. He gets to decide what words mean, not you, not any atheist.

I have seen the OP's video and others like it before. Yet still, I do not understand why atheists claim that a total lack of evidence would in any way suggest that there is no God or that we should withhold belief in Him and His extraordinary, imminently fulfilled promises. After all, does God not command us to exercise faith and thereby believe in Him regardless of evidence and states of the world in general?

But the fact is, the evidence for God surrounds us constantly. Listen to the laughter of children as they play games in the park. Behold the Northern Lights as they illuminate creation with His majesty. Regard the wildflower as it offers its sweet nectar up to the busy bees. Consider the African lion, as it rips apart its own children limb by limb and consumes its own fecal matter. Reflect on the flesh eating bacteria, as it eats an innocent child from the inside out, keeping it alive as long as possible by starting at the extremities.

Anybody who would behold the world as it is, and then deny God, has been beguiled by the Great Deceiver.

Indeed, Brother! Anything in creation that shows order, complexity and beauty can be attributed to intelligent design (Ps 19:1; Rom 1:20). Anything in creation that shows disorder, chaos and inefficiency can be attributed to the effects of the Fall (Gen 3:14-19; Rom 5:12). Both apparent design and apparent lack of design are evidence of a Designer. I cannot fathom the depravity of the unbelieving heart. How hard they must work to suppress the truth in their hearts!

Nope. You have to read my replies if you want to argue. I don't prove facts with facts. I prove theories with facts which is not circular. You on the other hand try to prove the bible with the bible, which is circular. Hell, you even posted it here:

Don't confuse the demons with the Holy Spirit, dear. The two are very, very different, even if they are virtually identical to the unsaved. Consider the recent event in which the Holy Spirit issued a Divine Warning through the United States House of Representatives:

Pay attention particularly to the letter by another ordained Minister of God (:41).

"It was not a mental episode. What she was doing is known as an exercise of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:1-11), where she brought a warning and a message from God."

By the way, if admiration and love were the things that I craved, I would probably avoid these forums like you an actual real science lecture at university. It's not like I get any of these here, and yet I come back every day. Discussing with christian fundamentals is actually kind of fun and it's the one thing I always look forward to at work, so you may want to check the DSM IV or V for something that fits better. I am sure you will make up, err, I mean, find something suitable.

Discussing with christian fundamentals is actually kind of fun and it's the one thing I always look forward to at work, so you may want to check the DSM IV or V for something that fits better. I am sure you will make up, err, I mean, find something suitable.

I hold wikipedia true (mostly). And I find it intriguing that you do so, too, even though there is stuff in there like the world being round, being 5 billion years old, not being the center of the universe - interesting. My friend, you have started to walk along the path of enlightenment and reason. Don't abandon it now. Go on, explore it further. If that involves you calling me a narcissist, I can live with that.

I did not call you Narcissist, try to keep up for once. Wikipedia claims that you have Narcissistic personality disorder. Big difference. Just again proves that last point of mine.
