      I am a child of God, not a child of Jesus.

      And as a child of God I have to do certain things that others in society may feel are unreasonably difficult or even painful at times.

      But the reward for a little bit of sufferance on Earth is eternal life.

      You might like to reconsider your statement that you "wouldn't want to be one of his children" when you consider the consequences of NOT being one of His children.

            WHAT?! It's obvious she HAS morals if she choses not to marry her rapist. THAT MAN IS SICK. I would NEVER put my daughter through something like that, EVER. To me, that seems worse than burning in hell.

                Why is this still going on? Didn't I read back around page 100 or so that they're now married and have a child?

                Really, just because the rapist is forced to marry the woman does not mean that we endorse or encourage rape. I'm pretty sure if Seth found out one of our sons was a rapist he may not live long enough to marry the poor girl.

                  It's not that Jesus wouldn't follow the word of the Lord, he is after all the embodiment of the Lord. I really think you're not doing the divine powers enough justice to assume that they have no frontal lobes or concious thought enough to concieve metaphors *rolls eyes* The last time I had checked, Jesus spoke of love and ways to end this igbnorant thought of murdering the murderers and raping the rapists, oh wait, the rapist get little fuck toys nice . . . Jesus wouldn't approve of hurting anyone in any way. . . which would make your actions a slide against God Himself!!!

                    Oh really? Well, Jesus says otherwise. For instance, here's what He says about pedophiles:
                    Mark 9:42: And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

                    Oh, and don't forget Matthew 10:34:

                    You should try and read the Bible sometimes instead of making such unfounded statements about our Lord.

                      Of course Jesus spoke of love. Part of love is punishing those who have done wrong.

                        You should let her file rape charges and let the man face his punishment in prison for taking her without her consent. There is never a reason a person should have to marry a rapist, man written book or not.

                              Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are.                                 Silly rabbit, not every thing shall be taken literal, and the god I worship, the lord god, doesn't require one to take a book that he knows, as well as I do, was written by man, and not directly by his almighty hand.
